That said... I learned a ton while doomscrolling on here, met new colleagues and found perspective on issues I was desperate to understand. Where else would I find Afghani voices on sanction impact after the Taliban takeover?

I stopped posting threads 2 years ago when I saw no one was reading them. I had a pretty narrow niche on here (Ukraine socioeconomics) and I dont think the algorithm changes helped me out

Hello everyone. Ill be retiring my Twitter account this week. Pretty banal reasons: this format has been grinding my attention span to dust for 10 years, and the small, unresolved doses of angst I get from short statements about intractable problems really get me down
