#BOCNewsToday | On May 23, 2024, the BOC- Port of Davao, in coordination with the Task Force Davao, seized PhP17.7 million worth of smuggled cigarettes. The intercepted truck was found carrying 15,150 reams of cigarettes and other items. Full story: tinyurl.com/pvw757b8

The district collected a total of 4.16 billion pesos, and posted a five percent surplus against its 3.95 billion target. District Collector Maritess T. Martin credits the dedication of the Collection District XII’s personnel for this accomplishment.

Similarly, the additional working days on the last two weekends of the month rendered by the port's personnel has not only expedited the processing of transactions, but also helped the district in surpassing its monthly revenue target.
