I’m not here to pick fights, start drama, or point fingers. I’m here to talk about something that more small creators need to be aware of. Chargebacks are real, and the financial damage they leave behind is real, too. Until recently, I absolutely loved everything about the streaming world. I encouraged people to start streaming, chase their dreams, build communities, and put themselves out there. I genuinely believed that if you had the opportunity to stream, you should take it. But nobody talks enough about this side of streaming. Imagine building a community, celebrating gifted subscriptions, thanking someone for their generosity, and believing that support is helping your channel grow. Then, months later, those payments are reversed. Suddenly, money you thought you earned is being taken back. Your payouts are negative, and you’re left dealing with financial consequences for transactions you didn’t initiate, approve for reversal, or have any control over. How is that fair to the creator? Small streamers aren’t sitting on endless amounts of money. We’re parents, employees, students, and everyday people trying to build something meaningful while balancing real-life responsibilities. We work hard for what we have. And now we’re expected to absorb financial losses because someone else decided to reverse their support? That should not be the price of being a content creator. There should be stronger protections, better accountability, and a system that doesn’t automatically leave creators carrying the financial burden when gifted subscriptions are charged back. What hurts the most is that streaming has always been about community to me. Small creators supporting other small creators. Showing up for each other. Celebrating each other’s wins. Helping each other through the hard times. I don’t want experiences like this to destroy that trust. This isn’t a cry for financial help. This isn’t about sympathy. It’s about awareness, accountability, and protecting the people who put their time, energy, and hearts into building these communities. I still love streaming. I still believe in supporting small creators. But I shouldn’t have to question whether today’s support will become tomorrow’s financial burden. Creators deserve to feel safe growing their communities, not afraid of the next payout. Something needs to change. 💜 #ProtectCreators #SmallStreamers #StreamingCommunity @kick @kickcommunity @KICKEthan @StakeEddie

There are people who put a lot of effort into their home for Halloween and there is this guy.
Halloween Costume of the Night This dog wins Halloween costume of the night. Nothing can beat this. He doesn't look too happy about it, but I hope he gets a nice bone and plenty of treats when it's all over. What's the best pet costume you've seen tonight?

GTA 6 is about to teach the whole industry a lesson it doesn't want to learn. Big budgets were never the real problem. Making games players didn't ask for was. The game isn't even out yet and people are already rearranging their lives. HR company BambooHR says time-off requests for November 19 are up somewhere between 9% and 17%. People are taking PTO for a video game. Think about that. The install size is reportedly over 200 GB and nobody cares. They'll delete half their library to make room and not think twice. 🤣 Now look at the other side of the industry this same month. EA shut down BioWare. Thirty years of history, gone. The next Mass Effect, canceled. Around 400 jobs cut across the company. And BioWare's last game? Dragon Age: The Veilguard reportedly hit about 1.5 million players in its first two months. That's roughly half of what EA was expecting. Critics were fine with it. Players just didn't show up. Fans crowdfunded Save Mass Effect billboards outside EA's headquarters and the petition is past 250,000 signatures. That's real love for a series. But a billboard doesn't fund a sequel. Sales do. Players vote with their wallets. Period. Then you've got Marathon. Tom Henderson is publicly asking Bungie to look at matchmaking because he keeps landing in lobbies with two teams, sometimes one. A dead lobby in an extraction shooter is about the worst thing you can see. Granted, Marathon is a whole Article in and of it self. Very special situation there. So how does one studio (Rockstar) have people burning vacation days while another can't fill a match? Not really a fair question when you look at the quality and consistency from Rockstar. Big studio names used to be enough to carry a launch. It used to. Bu not anymore. My take is pretty simple. Rockstar didn't make GTA 6 cheap or fast either. They went over a decade between mainline games. The difference is they built exactly what their audience was begging for, and they didn't ship it until it was ready. A lot of studios spend years and huge money chasing whatever genre looked hot when the project got greenlit. By the time it ships the trend is dead and the players have moved on. That's a leadership call, not bad luck. Here's my prediction. November 19 is going to be one of the biggest launch days gaming has ever seen. And a lot of publishers are going to study it and walk away with the wrong takeaway. They'll think the answer is spend more. The ones who survive the next few years will be the ones who figure out what their players actually want first, and then spend. So be honest with me. What's the last game you'd actually take a day off work for? And what does that studio do that the others keep missing?

KICK leaning hard into GTA 6 could be HUGE. One thing I’d love to see with all these events and activations @StakeEddie… Save a few spots for the smaller Homegrown / built on kick creators too! Give somebody their first real opportunity, not just another opportunity to the biggest names. That could change a creator’s entire year.

Never been in the stream? Pull up. Say what’s up. Meet the crew. You might just find your new late-night spot. KICK.com/KooterBomb Keep Building.

If a platform says you will get crushed by the algo unless you create "content" and build a "community, Let's prove them wrong really quick, Like, Comment, Share this post. An Algo can't stop "organic" traffic. ;)

DMZ DADS. FULL-TIME WORKERS. PARENTS. I NEED Y’ALL. We love DMZ too — we just don’t always have 8 hours a day to sweat every deployment. I’m pushing for an OPTIONAL PvE mode. PvP stays. Nobody loses their mode. Just give the dads, parents and 9-to-5 grinders another way to enjoy DMZ, run missions and unwind after a long day. If that sounds like you, sign the petition and RUN IT UP. Who else is gaming after the kids go to bed? Sign here! Any way you can help and us get an endorsement @BlueThunderReal ? link.e.change.org/a/QKpEE #dadlife
🚨 OKAY… THIS ISN’T A JOKE ANYMORE. We asked for 10 signatures. DMZ PvE just hit 25. And the devs literally said if there’s REAL demand for PvE, it becomes a conversation. So let’s give them something to talk about. 50 IS NEXT. PvE DMZ people… WHERE YOU AT? SIGN IT. SHARE IT. TAG SOMEBODY WHO WANTS PvE. @MrProWestie 👀 c.org/gLyCwpnkBS

THIS is what I wanted to see. 3,000+ creators featured in two weeks. 100+ homegrown creators getting Partnered. A path for OG creators who weren’t selected to make their case. And an OG badge being built for the people who have been here grinding. I’ve been speaking up for small and midsize creators because I genuinely believe KICK can build its own stars. Credit where it’s due. They listened. Now let’s keep building on it!
We've been listening to the feedback that is going around on socials, and what we've heard when Ed and I have been live on KICK Talk - so I wanted to give everyone an update on what we've done about it. First one was that we weren't featuring enough people and the front page was a little too static and sticky for creators that were featured for extended periods of time. Our feature team has pushed hard on this, working with our account management and partnerships teams, and we've now featured over 3,000 creators over the last two weeks. Second was around our homegrown and loyal creators. The ones who've been grinding with us for ages but haven't quite hit the metrics to get partnered and monetised. We went through the data (and jumped in a lot of chats) and we're partnering over 100 creators immediately. If that includes you, you'll be getting an email from us over the next 24 hours. We know it's not a perfect science and data can't drive all decisions so if you feel like you should have been included and have been rocking with us for years? Send your pitch to [email protected] and tell us how and why you meet the criteria we mentioned on KICK Talk. We're talking 2-3 years streaming on KICK and close to achieving partner, but if you're not quite there we may be able to help with that final push. OGs deserve to be acknowledged by the platforms they helped build. Speaking of creators who've been with us through the whole journey, we're currently designing an OG Streamer Badge that will be rolled out to our most consistent and loyal streamers who've been here since near the start of KICK. We haven't locked in a name yet, so we want your help. Drop your best name ideas below. Please keep the feedback coming. It helps us improve and shapes what we work on next, so keep it honest and keep it coming.

📢 Call of Duty: #ModernWarfare4 | #DMZ Early Access We’re aware of an issue causing some players to disconnect from matches. We’ve deployed a potential fix and are monitoring the results. Players who disconnected due to this particular issue will retain the equipment they started the match with and their subsequent progression, but not the loot collected during the match.
