I'd certainly need some time to accept that. And you WILL see me on the news. Unless it's not the ability to "tell good from evil" Adam lacked but something else. Because you do see him experience something resembling shame in ep6. Or maybe I'm digging too deep. I dunno anymore
I hope that's the case because the more I think about it, the more I hate it. I believe that Viv is more than capable of recognizing what this writing choice communicates to the viewer. Maybe it's hard to tell from my page, but I despise men being babied and stripped of agency
I say this because there're many things pointing to it being canon. Which will kinda suck, considering Viv wants to tell a story about female empowerment, yet her main misogynistic force is an infantilized "he didn't know any better and physically couldn't" man
Actually, there's a thing that I dislike and is prob the route the show is going to take for Adam's character. The apple granting the ability to tell good from evil, not freewill and Adam never having eaten it. Hits WAY less harder when Adam's ignorance isn't a conscious choice
