On today's Mashup Listening Party: Let's make an ABBA mixtape! @adrianabootie has cobbled together what little ABBA mashups there are and the ChatPod gets to vote on their favorites in several "mash-offs!" Join us on Twitch at 12pmPT/3pmET/8pmUK/9pmCET -- Twitch.tv/bootiemashup

Working on an ABBA mashup mixtape. If you want to hear some of the most misguided mashup attempts ever, I recommend searching "ABBA mashup" on YouTube. Other than a few good ones from @RebornIdentity, @G3RStmusic, and MadMixMustang, it's pretty much "Train Wreck In OOKsville."

A month ago, @PDSmix issued the @crumplbangers Ringtone Challenge, asking producers to create 30-second mashups. Here they are, compiled into a convenient playlist on @sowndhaus (use the player at the bottom) sowndhaus.audio/playlist/139…

Mashup Kitchen! New Mashups Monday with @adrianabootie starting now! Yup, a surprise po-up! Twitch.tv/BootieMashup

In the six months since @whitepanda raised $100,000 on Kickstarter to release just ONE mashup album which we're STILL waiting on, @lewiswakedj has released... 13 fucking excellent full-length mashup albums, ALL FOR FREE. Just... sayin'. lewiswake.bandcamp.com

Question for the mashup community: So you just made a mashup. Where do you post it? Here's my list: Sowndhaus, YouTube, Mashstix, Reddit: /r/mashups, Bootie Mashup Facebook/Discord/Subreddit. What's missing? (Don't say TikTok, because that's a 1-minute clip, not the full mashup)

"If stupid @adrianabootie is gonna bitch about the lack of genre-clashed @LilNasX Montero mashups on YouTube, why doesn't she just make one herself?" Okay. youtu.be/V0r6AOcUg-E

For someone who bitched about "chart pop vs. chart pop" mashups on YouTube, we sure play a lot! 😳 For context though: I listen to more mashups (200+) per week than most, and many start to sound samey-same. However that still doesn't excuse my bitchy tweet or call-outs . 🤔😳😥😭

There’s often a thin line between classy and trashy... and tonight on Twitch, we will cross it! PDS Mix, Jupiter Gatling, and Airsun are your DJs. Dance Commander Zoom Disco will be open! Twitch.tv/BootieMashup

There’s a first for everything: First deleted tweet (that wasn’t due to typos). Deleted the one that called out a few mashup producers (whose work I generally like & respect) for not making genre-clashed Montero mashups. It was a shitty thing to name names and I’m sorry. 🥲

Bring it!
