What is Edmonton hiding why will they not allow Lucy to go to a sanctuary
It’s time for #Transparency #Accountability and #Action
@AndrewKnack @EddieRobar @CityofEdmonton @edmontonjournal
Governance is not just about spending 💰or delivering projects. It is about explaining decisions, answering legitimate questions & being willing to reconsider them.

Edmonton has compassionate people backed by science and experts willing to help Lucy 🐘 retire to a sanctuary. Instead, the city keeps her captive and spends more money on another cage. Make it make sense! Lucy deserves freedom, not another prison. @AndrewKnack
If you want to understand the state of Edmonton’s leadership, 👀 no further than their failing public services & the ongoing, cruel confinement of Lucy the 🐘at the Valley Zoo.
A functional city shows compassion & competence. Edmonton is showing neither. #FreeLucy @EddieRobar !

Send them to sanctuary !

It’s #Friday so let’s ask @EddieRobar
While Edmontonians struggle with rising property taxes inflation & crumbling infrastructure @CityofEdmonton management continues pouring capital millions into YEG zoo
Spending top 💵to keep a solitary 🐘 in 🥶climate isn't good leadership.

Why is Edmonton struggling financially but financing a zoo where help is available for true conservation retiring non native animals to Canada to sanctuaries free of cages
Mayor @AndrewKnack talks about scaling back big projects but Edmontonians are still getting hit with tax hikes & housing pressures.
Meanwhile @EddieRobar oversees a budget that keeps pouring cash into locking up #Lucy the 🐘at the zoo.
#Mismanaged from top to bottom. #corruption?

@PM_Kamla Recently visited your beautiful country 🇹🇹❤️ My biggest concern is the countless stray dogs & cats in need. Is there a government-funded spay/neuter programme, with shelters, vet care & protection from cruelty? 🐾

Four Paws originally meant to manage the elephant enclosure at #KarachiSafariPark but @Murtazawahab1 wouldn’t allow this consequently the #Karachielephants have been left to suffer and die Due to the systemic failures of #KarachiSafariPark management
