This is a great documentary. And looking back it’s just mental, didn’t seem so growing up in the 80s! 😂

Fabulous to see so many volunteers from across Scotland coming together today @ParkinsonsUKSco thanking event. Without them and so many more we’d simply not be there to support so many people affected by #parkinsons

⚽️𝐖𝐚𝐥𝐤𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐅𝐨𝐨𝐭𝐛𝐚𝐥𝐥 𝐒𝐜𝐨𝐭𝐥𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐒𝐜𝐨𝐭𝐭𝐢𝐬𝐡 𝐂𝐮𝐩 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐅𝐞𝐬𝐭𝐢𝐯𝐚𝐥 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟓: 𝐌𝐨𝐫𝐞 𝐓𝐡𝐚𝐧 𝐉𝐮𝐬𝐭 𝐚 𝐆𝐚𝐦𝐞!🏆 This weekend saw an unforgettable day of togetherness, teamwork, and competition at our Walking Football Festival — with 92 teams and over 900 participants in attendance. Age and adversity were no match for spirit and football. Hibernian Community Foundation were represented by our Over 50s, Over 60s, and our incredible Parkinson’s teams, who were all competing for their respective Scottish Cups. The day was filled with friendly but competitive competition, laughs and a love for the game. Our Over 50s faced some tough competition in a very hard group, our Over 60s missed out on the next stage by a narrow 1 point, and our Parkinson’s group took part in the first ever Parkinsons Scottish Cup in a celebration of unity and progression within the game. Every HCF player played for the badge, and did the Foundation proud on the day – well done! 💬 "Imagine when you turn 50 and you’re told that you’re about to put on a Hibs strip to play in the Scottish Cup. I’ve been a lifelong Hibs fan so this moment was special for me." – Walking Football Participant 👏 The weekend was a reminder of how football can bring so many people together. A massive thank you to @WalkingFootScot for organising the event and to everyone involved on the day. 📸 Phil Dawson

It's a week since we celebrated #WorldParkinsonsDay. And we've been looking back at some of the highlights from Scotland. Thank you to everyone who came together, made it blue, and too the time to raise awareness of Parkinson's. #WPD2025

What an amazing show from all the venues across Scotland that lit up blue for #WorldParkinsonsDay. It's a brilliant way to say that nobody has to face their Parkinson's journey alone. #WPD2025
