Wow, we did it. I know that we are hungry here, hungry for a change that we can feel in our bones, that we can feel in our pocketbooks. And I am on a mission to deliver. To make our healthcare more affordable. To keep our family farms running. To fund our public schools. To bring down the goddam price of gas. This is a victory for all of US. For anyone who is struggling to pay your rent or mortgage, drowning in medical debt, worrying if you’ll have to sell the farm. Help is coming. Thank you to my incredible team for leaving it all on the field, to my kind hearted family and friends, to the coalition we built across the political spectrum to make this happen. And thank you to @derrickvanorden for his years of service to this country in Congress and in the Navy. The real work begins now. Hold me accountable to campaign promises. Reach out when our office opens. Stay connected.

During her 3rd Congressional District victory speech Tuesday, @RebeccaforWI got choked up thanking her supporters. "This is what democracy actually looks like," she said. Cooke won with 52.4% of the vote, beating incumbent Derrick Van Orden in their rematch.

If it's anything like his predictions from this cycle, I don't like that he's making it
Conservative commentator "Red Eagle Politics" says Republicans may never win back the Senate "The Republican Party is not getting the Senate back until 2032 at the earliest. Much more likely, Dems get a trifecta, pack the Senate, give blanket amnesty, and they never get it back at all."

And so it was.
Hopefully this might be the end for Brad Knott here in CD-13. He did no real campaigning, stumped for Duke Energy, did no town halls, no forums. And now we're seeing the effects. Meanwhile, Paul Barringer has been campaigning all across our gaping gerrymander maw. He absolutely deserves to win this district.

You hear that sound? 🦗🦗🦗🦗🦗 That’s the sound of MAGA influencers that haven’t been told what to think yet. Don’t worry, in a few days the Heritage Foundation will release their talking points and MAGA influencers will suddenly have opinions again.

On a positive note, we'll never have to hear @NCDemParty complain about gerrymandering again. Right? #ncpol

Hakeem Jeffries should not be Speaker of the House if he doesn't want to "get even" after being handed a monumental once in a century mandate to do exactly that. @HouseDemocrats I hope you have a better plan.
Hakeem Jeffries on Morning Joe: The American people don't want us to get even. They want us to get things done on their behalf because life is way too expensive. We ran on affordability, we won on affordability, and now it's our job to govern on affordability.

"Accidental" as if Paul Barringer didn't work his ass off all across this gerrymandered ass district, while Brad Knott stumped for Duke Energy and sat in his DC office. Knott had no choice but to concede. Paul beat him handily.
Dems score an accidental win in NC with freshman Rep. Brad Knott's concession this morning
