I must admit, the midterms have never been this exciting. I am blown away by all these Governors races flipping. I’ve counted 6 States so far including fucking Texas!
24
It looks like Texas has flipped lock stock and barrel. Now that’s worthy of a celebration.
24
It's actually 2/3rds or 67 votes to convict in the senate.

‼️ The Ukraine war is finished in all but name. The narrative has collapsed, the EU has nothing left with which to sustain the regime in Kiev, and that regime has lost the support of its own people. In my estimation, the end is now only a matter of timing. This is the simple truth.

Trump doesn't create the selfishness and cruelty embedded in American capitalism. He weaponizes them, normalizes them, and turns human suffering into a demonstration of power. This is the politics of the dictatorship of capital. #ClassWar youtube.com/watch?v=RFdhjeaj…

The issue with Trump is that he doesn’t know how to negotiate. His entire “art of the deal” consists of threatening the other side so that they get scared and submit to his will. The problem is that Iran is not afraid. From that point on, Trump’s whole strategy falls apart. He finds himself stuck in a quagmire and has no idea how to get out of it. “I’m going to bomb this and that.” Iran replies: “I’m going to bomb this and that and more.” The Americans are walking on eggshells. This region, through Saudi Arabia, supports the petrodollar, which allows the United States to be the exception in the world when it comes to debt and the ability to impose sanctions. Without that, everything collapses. Your debt is over $40 trillion. So yes, Iran holds the real cards. It’s a genuine pair of aces. We should not be afraid to say it, Iran is the country that can bring down the American empire, and thereby free the world from this scourge.

Tucker frustrates me terribly over many issues, but on this war he seems to be one of the only people in the US with any platform that actually gets it. I have no doubt Netanyahu is pushing for the most extreme measures: he does it to drive systems insane, but also as a psychological trick to get a little less as a compromise. I still don't believe nuclear weapons will be used: this is a scenario with unknown and unimaginable consequences for the world, which will definitely, definitely, push Iran to develop a nuclear arsenal of its own within weeks. Also, using nuclear weapons against Iran legitimizes the US of nuclear weapons against Israel. And it may not always be clear who used them. I am mostly certain that a major attack on Iran will happen. What Carlson half says here could be the most important part: the license Israel has been issued by the West to enact greater and greater acts of insane barbarism have brought humanity to the brink. Stopping and isolating Israel needs to be a top agenda for everyone, everywhere. It's a shame he doesn't go far enough in this respect. One thing I do know: humanity's indifference to the cries of Gaza's babies will return to haunt it, and collect a steep price. Everybody was warned, but no one listened, and now judgement day (and that's in the case of a conventional war) seems right around the corner. We will deserve whatever we get. We left children to die. We are not worthy of anything
Under pressure from Israeli prime minister Benjamin Netanyahu, the Trump administration may be within days of launching a nuclear strike on Iran. The target would be Pickax Mountain in central Iran, where Israeli intelligence claims the Iranian government has restarted its nuclear enrichment program. No conventional weapon in the American arsenal can penetrate 300 feet of solid granite to destroy the tunnels where enrichment is supposedly taking place. The only military option is a nuclear strike. Netanyahu has been pushing hard for one. “Bibi calls Trump about it every day,” says an informed observer. Netanyahu is cornered and desperate. After last week’s election results, he can’t form a government unless Trump intervenes directly in Israeli politics and brokers a deal with other parties that gives Netanyahu 61 seats in the Knesset. Otherwise, he is out as prime minister and on his way to ignominy, investigations and possibly jail. Netanyahu must stay close to Trump. He needs this war. To that end, he’s applied maximum pressure to his closest allies in the administration, including Secretary of Defense Pete Hegseth and CENTCOM commander Brad Cooper. Both oppose a negotiated settlement to the war they’ve so grievously mismanaged; both are pushing to restart major combat operations. Secretary of State Marco Rubio and CIA director John Ratcliffe are also following Netanyahu’s lead, as are leaders of the Democratic Party. In a recent meeting on the subject, former president Barack Obama said he opposes the current Iran peace deal being drafted in Doha. The rest of America’s longtime allies in the Middle East are terrified by the prospect of more war. On September 27th, Netanyahu flew secretly to Abu Dhabi to enlist the UAE in his lobbying effort for a final attack on Iran. The Emiratis refused. After eight months of conflict, Gulf economies are teetering. So are global energy and fertilizer markets. They won’t recover soon. Globally, there are a total of about 850 supertankers used to transport oil from producers to the rest of the world. In October alone, 11 of them were badly damaged in Hormuz. At this pace, a global depression is imminent. A nuclear strike would radically accelerate the destruction. Fallout from a ground explosion at Pickax Mountain would contaminate the Persian Gulf, poisoning the water supply for 100 million people. And those are just some of the immediate consequences for the region. The rest of the world is every bit as exposed. No country other than the United States has ever used a nuclear weapon in war. Some would like to. An American nuclear attack on Iran would set a new precedent. The Russians have already told at least two other governments that an American nuclear strike on Iran would free them to use nuclear weapons against Ukraine. Pakistan and India would be tempted to do the same against each other, as would North Korea against Seoul. After the first nuclear strike, World War Three is inevitable. That war would be short and final. We’ve been sleepwalking toward this moment for months. Since February, the administration has quietly rewritten America’s nuclear doctrine to make first use of so-called “battlefield nukes” easier and therefore more likely. No one in Washington in either party seems bothered by this. Now we’re on the brink of it. Close observers say Trump is likely to decide by next weekend whether or not to use nuclear weapons. That would be November 7, six days from now. To his credit, he’s hesitating. At the moment, Trump is listening to his vice president, JD Vance, and to his envoy and friend Steve Witkoff, both of whom argue a deal with Iran can be made. They’re right, though it won’t be simple. The Iranians are famously frustrating to negotiate with under any circumstances, and elements of that government have become more radical since Ayatollah Ali Khamenei and his family were killed in February. After decades of isolation, even relatively moderate Iranian leaders seem confused by how decisions are made in the West. (There is a widespread belief in Tehran, for example, that the United States government controls Israel.) But overall, people who have spoken to decision-makers in Iran say there is consensus there that more war is bad for everyone and a deal is worth making. One group that hasn’t been consulted so far is the global population — the hundreds of millions of people who will be killed along with their children if Trump is pushed by Netanyahu into launching a nuclear strike next week. Now would be the time for them to speak up.

Trying to speak to a human in Corporate America: I found the ‘passwords’ when calling Customer Service. My example is Xfinity. When AI (in that sexy female voice) very annoying if you’re female, does everything in its power to not let you talk to a human, say “Customer Service” and ‘downgrade’ keep repeating it no matter what that apparition says. It worked. Once you get to the human you can ask them anything you want. The games we have to play.

I have just won the first legal case in my journey to reclaim my life. Over the past three years I have paid a heavy price, away from the media spotlight—one that cost me my freedom, my safety, my voice, my career, my financial rights, and everything I built over 12 years—simply because I stood up at the UN and said, "Stop the genocide against our people in Gaza and Lebanon"—at a time when no one else dared to utter a single word. To give you a small example: I have been living away from my family for nearly a year, moving between three different residences and using three different vehicles, while adhering to numerous additional security measures recommended by the authorities. Although my voice has been censored here—simply because they do not want you to know what they have done to me through your own governments—if you were to learn what they are capable of doing to me, you would realize that they could do the very same thing to you as well. Your awakening would cost them their hegemony. Amidst all of this, I want to celebrate this victory—even if only with one of you. And I promise that the time will come to reveal everything and expose everyone.
