วันนี้คงเป็นวันที่มีความสุขที่สุดในชีวิต มากกว่าตอนรับปริญญาทั้งสองครั้ง มากกว่าตอนได้ทุนไปเรียนต่อ และมากกว่าอะไรใดๆ ทั้งปวงที่เคยเกิดขึ้นกับชีวิตที่ใช้มาทั้งหมดสามสิบปีของข้าพเจ้า เพราะมันเป็นความฝันและความสำเร็จที่ประเมินค่าไม่ได้เลย
จริงอย่างที่เขาพูดกันว่า ถ้าเราหมกมุ่นกับอะไรมากๆ ตอนเด็ก โตมาเราก็จะเป็นแบบนั้น แม่บอกว่าลูกอ่านหนังสือออกตั้งแต่สองขวบ อ่านนิยายเป็นเรื่องเป็นราวตั้งแต่หกขวบ หรือนี่คือข้อดีของการเป็นลูกคนเดียว เพราะไม่มีใครเล่นด้วย
ครั้งหนึ่งเคยมีคนพูดกับเราว่า ‘นิยายที่เราเขียน เอไอก็ทำได้’ แต่สำหรับคนที่มีศิลปะอยู่เต็มหัวใจอย่างเรา ไม่เคยเชื่อในพูดนั้นแม้แต่เสี้ยววินาทีเดียว สิ่งที่เราคอยพูดอยู่เสมอในทุกครั้งที่มีโอกาสก็คือ ศิลปะคอยจรรโลงโลก ทำให้มนุษย์เป็นคนเต็มคน ทำให้โลกใบนี้ยังมีความหวังอยู่ต่อไป และไม่ว่าใครก็ตามที่ด้อยค่าศิลปะไม่ว่าจะแขนงใด ผู้นั้นย่อมไม่เจริญ
ตรีวัชรกาล ในตอนของ ม.ร.ว. ฉัตรพิรุณนี้ เขียนไปด้วยความเขลาของคนที่อ่อนประสบการณ์ชีวิต ในวัยแค่ยี่สิบห้า อาจจะมีเพ้อฝัน มีฉากที่เหมือนละครน้ำเน่า และจบได้เหมือนตัวเอกในเทพนิยายครองคู่กันตลอดไป แต่เมื่อเวลาผ่านไปถึงห้าปี จากครั้งแรกที่เริ่มเขียนนิยายเรื่องนี้ ถึงแม้ว่าตัวนักเขียนเองจะหมดความเชื่อและศรัทธาในความรักที่เกิดขึ้นกับชีวิตตัวเองมากแค่ไหน แต่ความรักก็ยังคงพุ่งพล่านวนเวียนอยู่ในจิตวิญญาณดวงนี้เสมอ ไม่ว่ามันจะเกิดขึ้นกับใคร เพศใด เชื้อชาติหรือศาสนาใด เรายังศรัทธามั่นคงในความรักตลอดมา และมันเป็นแรงบันดาลใจชั้นดีในการสร้างผลงานต่อไปเรื่อยๆ ในอนาคต
เหนือสิ่งอื่นใด ยังคงขอบคุณตัวเองเสมอที่มุ่งมั่นตั้งใจทำในสิ่งที่รัก ใส่สุดกำลังในทุกอย่างที่ทำ ขอบคุณพ่อแม่ที่สนับสนุนและศรัทธาในความสามารถของลูกคนนี้ตลอดมา และทำให้เราเกิดมาเป็นคนที่มีแพสชั่นกับทุกสิ่งที่รักได้มากมายขนาดนี้ เพราะมันเป็นแรงขับเคลื่อนชั้นดีเยี่ยมที่สุดเท่าที่มนุษย์คนหนึ่งจะประสบความสำเร็จได้
