Take the Long Way Home - WITH ORCHESTRA!!! Take the Long Way Home is another evergreen classic from Roger, co-founder of Supertramp. It's from the album, Breakfast in America, which was a global hit. His other song on this album include the title track, Breakfast in America, The Logical Song, Child of Vision & Lord is it Mine. Roger began writing songs at the age of 12 and later recorded some of those songs with Supertramp. Although Roger & Supertramp's other co-founder shared writing credit, they actually wrote & composed separately with each singing their own songs. You can instantly recognize Roger's voice & distinct melodies when you listen to the greatest hits, such as the ones listed above in addition to Give a Little Bit, Dreamer, School, Hide in Your Shell, Fool's Overture & countless others. Did you ever play Take the Long Way Home really loud in the car traveling down the road on your family holiday? I know I did! Share it with your friends and family...and give a shout out to Roger's awesome band.

Child of Vision - Another winner from Breakfast in America. March 29 will mark the 45th anniversary of this spectacular album with over 30 million sold to date!! “Child of Vision was an inspirational song. It was more of a commentary, really, of what I was seeing around me. I am singing to the idealist in Child of Vision - basically buying into the America lifestyle - ‘they gave me Coca-Cola and they had me watch television.’ It was maybe talking to part of myself to hang on to the vision beyond that.” ~ Roger Hodgson #childofvision #breakfastinamerica #keyboard #concert
