Bro…you need to chill.
We have one bad year and you’re out here reaching to put down a franchise legend before the offseason even starts.
Seriously something needs to be done about losers like you. Buster Posey is the guy to lead our beloved Giants back to glory. Camilo is just the start.

How I would manage the 40-man crisis this offseason:
Protect Lalane, Gair to put the 40-man at 58 (let Brubaker walk in FA).
Cut the following 18:
Position players
Bader (eat $10M sunk, give young OFs runway)
Whitcomb
Morgan
McCray
Harris
Basabe
Pitchers
Marte
Hentges
Foley
Walker
Butto
Wick
Kuhnel
Sanmartin
Abner
Gage
Peguero
Lonsway
Beck
This puts the 40-man at the following players by position group:
11 SP
Webb
Roupp
Houser
Tidwell
McDonald
Birdsong
Wilkinson
Whisenhunt
Molina
Davitt
Lalane
9 RP
Rodriguez
Harris
Smith
Winn
Perdomo
Seymour
Roxby
Gair
Mendez
3 C
Susac
Cavanaugh
Knizner
7 IF
Eldridge
Mayer
Adames
Chapman
Devers
Furman
Koss
7 OF
Lee
Davidson
Gilbert
Hill
Bandura
Schmitt
3 UTL
Cox
Rodriguez
Bericoto
This was an incredibly difficult exercise, as the glut of medium-warm AAAA bodies is just egregious. It’s not that they’re necessarily bad players, but no other organization has such a skew on their 40-man towards unproven, young talent. And out of the 40 players I selected, moving off any of them will be pretty difficult (veteran under contract or young player you don’t want to give up on yet), so making any additions in the offseason will bring about some difficult decisions. I guess Buster has to start trading

This Rafael Devers is exactly why Giants fans were so giddy in June 2025. An insane heater. The kind of power bat you dream about. Swag, fat wad in his lip, and nonstop bombs. Just wish these games mattered man.
No Feint here 😉

ALT Detail shots of a Pokémon World Championships-themed San Francisco Giants jersey. The jersey has a logo on the left chest featuring a Poké Ball, the Golden Gate Bridge, a boat sailing in the San Francisco Bay, and a Latios flying overhead. The jersey also has a logo for the Pokémon World Championships 2026 on the right sleeve. The back of the jersey features Pikachu wearing a crown and a cape as well as a silhouette of the Golden Gate Bridge.

Kind of an interesting observation here:
Rafael Devers has hit better at Oracle Park (128 wRC+) than on the road (115 wRC+) since the trade. The common assumption is that Oracle Park saps offensive production for left-handed bats, but that has not been the case for Devers.

Two Giants prospects I think you should keep an eye on:
Bryce Eldridge and Josuar Gonzalez
These are probably my two favorite prospects in the system, Bryce was a former first round pick and Josuar was a top 10 international signing last year.

The last 7 years of Dodgers # 1 prospect:
25- Roki Sasaki (not really a prospect)
24-Dalton Rushing (literal loser)
23 and 22- Diego Cartaya (released)
21- Keibert Ruiz (ass)
20-Gavin Lux (ass)
19- Alex Verdugo (ass)
“Loaded” farm system is them being constantly over ranked and overhyped
Everybody in the industry believes Tarik Skubal will end up with the Dodgers, per @JeffPassan
“They have an absolutely loaded farm system”
