They used real registered voters’ names without permission, dressed up, and tried to apply for ballots while secretly filming—then posted it to claim the system is insecure. Minnesota law bars intentionally misrepresenting your identity when applying for a ballot. They never cast votes, but that doesn’t erase the identity-theft and unlawful-voting charges. Testing a process isn’t a free pass to impersonate actual people at the polls. The law applies to everyone.
BREAKING: MAGA provocateurs James O’Keefe and Cam Higby have been hit with FELONY charges in Minnesota! They allegedly impersonated REAL voters, dressed up as Muslims and tried to manufacture an election fraud scandal. The irony is absolutely staggering. These are the same people who have spent years screaming about election fraud, and now THEY are the ones facing felony election-related charges. You cannot make this stuff up. Hold them accountable!

Am I missing something, or did James O'Keefe and Cam Higby blatantly tried to commit voter fraud in MN, got caught, and are freaking out because election integrity worked as it should? Doing illegal shit in the name of jOuRnAlIsM doesn't make it less illegal.

They talk about the golden age of cinema as if it took place in the late '30s or in the '40s...But except for Preston Sturges and a few fluky individualists, they just didn't have the personal voice of the movies of the '70s. (1989)

On this day in 1918, Czechoslovakia declares independence from the collapsing Austro-Hungarian Empire and achieves statehood. With the First World War just days away from its conclusion, Europe is undergoing seismic upheaval.

Amy Acton's long-lost stepsister, the biological daughter of Acton's abusive stepfather, corroborates Amy Acton's story in heartbreaking interview: "Yes, he raped [my biological sister], and it was more than once... I know they were homeless for a while and living in a tent. All that is definitely true."

Orson Welles' "Citizen Kane" (1941) & John Ford's "How Green Was My Valley" (1941) were both released in the same year. In my opinion, both movies are equally great & influential in their own way. HGWMV won 5 Academy awards including 'Best Picture' while CK won only one. 85 years later, one movie is still celebrated & revered, while another one remains largely forgotten. The surprising thing is that despite being among John Ford's best movies, HGWMV isn't given the respect it deserves. It is not talked about it in the same breath as Ford's Westerns. It is quite unfortunate. P.S: I am not alluding that a movie should be remembered just because it won some awards. I am only bringing this comparison up because HGWMV deserves same plaudits as CK.

In Checkmate (1926), a figure holds a gun to their temple on a chessboard floor beside a tilted king. The title suggests a grim final move in a game already lost. The work signals Magritte’s growing use of polished technique to explore unsettling imagery. #artbots #magritte

Mike Johnson delayed swearing in Adelita Grijalva for SEVEN weeks because she represented the 218th signature on the Epstein-files discharge petition Trump didn’t want passed. But sure, Mike. Sure.
RAJU: So if Trump says 'Don't seat Democrats,' you'll resist him? MIKE JOHNSON: I'll do my job as Speaker. The president has vowed of course that he wants to follow the law as well.
