AI has an image problem. It's one of the most significant technological shifts in the last century. Despite this, there is widespread fear around the societal and planetary impacts of AI. At Patch, we fundamentally believe AI is a technology that can be used for good. Medicine, energy, climate action all have obvious applications for LLMs. The most obvious? Removing the friction that comes with coordination of large scale programs. We've lost millions (billions?) of iteration cycles because of large groups of people struggle to get organized. If you want to help drive better outcomes and up the ambition for energy and carbon programs, we're hiring in SF and London.

Imagine a world where allies had shared connectivity / MCPs to make immigration, trade, etc easier for their citizens and businesses. The Agentic Alliance.

We’re going to win
SECRETARY RUBIO on AMERICA.GOV PASSPORTS: No printing forms, no drugstore hostage photo, no appointment, no line, no middleman that you're paying to do something that should be available to you.

Can someone do this for salesforce?
"After 5+ years of trying to move off our marketing automation solution, we finally got the bulk of it done with an LLM Lift. That part took about $14, and took about an hour." The latest on The Agents #010!!

250 years of progress. No place I’d rather be building and raising a family to contribute to the next 250. 🇺🇸

Show me the outcome. If an executive at Patch bragged about their costs being up 66% *and* didn’t describe the associated impact - their things would be in a box before the end of the week.
Student funding in California is now a RECORD HIGH! Since Governor Newsom took office, it’s increased 66%— reaching $28,282 per student as the state makes historic investments in public education.

The best part of working with AI is that it's Christmas every week.
Introducing Claude Opus 4.7, our most capable Opus model yet. It handles long-running tasks with more rigor, follows instructions more precisely, and verifies its own outputs before reporting back. You can hand off your hardest work with less supervision.

Also English in the caption makes it clear this is for the world, not French nationals.
Say what you will about the current admin’s social strategy - allies are following suit. Cold War propagandists could never imagine.

In dark times, our only hope is work-life balance.
Following the ongoing situation in Iran, I am convening a special Security College on Monday. For regional security and stability, it is of the utmost importance that there is no further escalation through Iran’s unjustified attacks on partners in the region.

I’ve gotten to the point where if I’m not redirecting or continuing to prompt claude/codex/opencode between meetings - I feel unproductive. Constant foreground and background work is a paradigm shift.

It's pretty remarkable how quickly we're seeing some of the knock on effects of a *potential* wealth tax in California. Brin, Thiel et al. all making moves. Imagine the capital flight if such a tax actually went to a vote or was actually ratified?
NEWS: Google co-founder Sergey Brin is cutting ties with California. In the 10 days before Christmas, an entity connected to Brin terminated or moved 15 California LLCs that oversee some of his business interests or investments out of the state. With @RMac18 + @hknightsf.

Oldest American ally is officially with the program.
The Venezuelan people are today rid of Nicolás Maduro’s dictatorship and can only rejoice. By seizing power and trampling on fundamental freedoms, Nicolás Maduro gravely undermined the dignity of his own people. The upcoming transition must be peaceful, democratic, and respectful of the will of the Venezuelan people. We wish that President Edmundo González Urrutia, elected in 2024, can swiftly ensure this transition. I am currently exchanging with our partners in the region. France is fully mobilized and vigilant, including to ensure the safety of its nationals during these uncertain times.

Too many “years in review” and victory laps on the timeline. Not enough accountability on what didn’t get done in 2025.
