I need to make a very PUBLIC announcement on behalf of younger GenXers and older Millennials.
If you see someone in their 40s or 50s who seems a little boring now, I need you to understand something...
We already got it in.
Like...GOT. IT. IN.
We are not sitting home on a Friday night because we never knew how to have fun.
We are sitting home on a Friday night because we have seen enough.
We went to parties in houses that should have been condemned and were almost certainly owned by the local drug dealer.
We saw police lights and RAN and not across a nice, flat field.
INTO THE WOODS.
Do you understand the athleticism required to hurdle uprooted tree roots in platform shoes while simultaneously trying to keep your low-rise jeans from sliding completely off your ass?
And somehow...we never spilled the Zima. We never spilled the Booneâs Farm.
That was TALENT.
We slept on floors in strange houses because the designated driver either never showed up or, in a shocking turn of events, was drunker than everybody else.
There was no Uber, Life360 or Find My Friends.
There was just somebody named Mike saying, âI know a shortcut.â
And we FOLLOWED MIKE.
We closed down bars and then decided the night was still young, so we drove to Atlantic City, where we somehow managed to get drunk, sober up, get drunk again, sober up again and then get drunk a THIRD TIME before breakfast.
And according to our parents? We were at Michelleâs house.
Eating pizza and watching movies.
Michelleâs mother unknowingly covered for approximately 17 people every weekend. If there even was a Michelle.
We drank things called Purple Passion, Mad Dog 20/20 and whatever somebody mixed inside a giant plastic garbage can. Nobody asked what was in it. You grabbed a red Solo cup and trusted the process.
We went to clubs until the lights came on. Do you know the psychological damage of seeing a nightclub with the LIGHTS ON? Nothing good happens after those lights come on.
We danced for four straight hours in shoes that permanently altered the structure of our feet.
We made entire plans without cell phones...no texts, dropped pins or group chats...just an extremely questionable sense of direction.
We rode in cars with 11 people when the vehicle legally seated five. Someone was always sitting on someone. Someone was always in the hatchback.
And there was always one friend yelling, âDUCK!â when we passed a cop.
So yes...now we like being home.
We like sweatpants.
We like cancelling plans.
We like saying, âThat sounds fun!â with absolutely no intention of attending.
We like restaurants at 5:30 because we can get a good table.
We like being home by 8:17.
And if someone texts at 9:30 PM and says, âWhat are you doing?â
Sleeping...we are sleeping.
Because this is not boring my friends...this is retirement.
We already played, partied and danced on the bar.
We already ran from the cops through a wooded area dressed like a Spice Girl.
We have stories that cannot be posted because there are still people with careers, marriages and reputations to protect. And thank GOD there were no camera phones.
So kids, when you look at your Gen X and older Millennial parents sitting peacefully on the couch watching Dateline at 8 PM and think:
âGod, you guys are boring.â
Sweetheart...oh sweetheart.
You are looking at retired legends.
Put some respect on our names. We're probably the reason Life360 was invented.

3/3 I found a way to listen to DC radio on Friday before games to hear this man pump up this organization in this fan base when we were trash and now this organization doesnât have the time or the want to to hear him out. HE DESERVES BETTER AND SO DO WE.

2/3 has done for this organization. I have personally listened to this man call into the radio station for close to 20 years. I have lived all over the United States and no matter where I was.

1/2This is a crying shame @Commanders. To be honest I wasnât there at the incident and have only heard rumors about it. This guy you have representing our fan base is an Internet troll. IMO, I think the new leadership in Washington should take a look at what @DCHypemanRevT

For years, I showed up and showed out for the Washington Redskinsânow the Washington Commandersâfrom radio, TV, personal appearances, corporate events, fan events, and everywhere in between. Before I was Rev T, I was Rev Redskins. I was there for the people.
I never asked for money. Never asked for favors. If you called Rev T, I showed up.
When this team was losing, when the fan base was frustrated, when people were ready to give up, I was the one saying BELIEVE. I was the one uplifting the people, encouraging the fan base, keeping hope alive for Burgundy and Gold.
But somewhere along the way, when I hit my own dark season, that same love wasnât returned.
When Jason Wright took over, along with his staffâespecially Joey, who was in charge of guest experience and ticketsâI was banned by the Washington Commanders organization.
While others were being embraced, I was pushed out.
While I was trying to defend my family, my daughters, and my wife from harassment, attacks, fake accounts, and disgusting behavior, the organization turned their nose up.
Iâve been called clown, monkey, coon, idiot. My daughters were attacked. My wife was attacked. My family was disrespected.
@kgskins26, Keith Gray from New Jersey, sent nasty packages to my homeânot once, but twice. Those packages were gummy dicks sent to my house where my family lives. Then he came onto my Facebook live stream and publicly asked me, âDid your daughters enjoy those gummy dicks?â
Let that sink in.
They also created and circulated a picture of me hanging from a noose.
That is not fandom.
That is harassment.
That is hate.
People like @KGSkins26, Tom Block, and others spent years attacking me, my family, and even my show, The Rev T Sports Revival. Fake accounts were made. Lies were spread. My family was targeted. My daughters were targeted.
And instead of accountability, they were rewarded.
The HogFarmers, led by @HogFarmer Chris Bryant, allowed it. Chris Bryant made @kgskins26 a member even after I personally spoke with him privately and told him exactly what KG was doing to me and my family.
He knew.
He still did it.
Ask yourself this:
Would Chris Bryant have allowed that if KG was attacking Tailgate Ted?
Would he have made him a member if he was attacking Rally Captain?
Would he have allowed that against any other major superfan representing this team?
Absolutely not.
But because it was Rev T, he let it happen.
Before KG was made a member, they were already giving him tickets, perks, and access. While I was fighting for my family, they were choosing sidesâand it wasnât mine.
And letâs be realâChris Bryantâs @HogFarmerChris wife had already attacked me, making comments questioning Christianity and my place in this fan base. So by the time I spoke to him privately, the decision had already been made. He didnât care.
Joey had personally told me for years, âYouâll get your tickets back next season.â
Season after season came and went.
When I finally spoke to Jason Wright in Dallas, he told me someone would reach out to me. They didâbut it was the same lady from the ticket office who was nasty from the beginning, and it was clear she had already chosen whose side she was on.
No apology.
No concern for my daughters.
No concern for my wife.
No concern for my family being harassed.
Just silence.
And here we are in 2026âand I still canât get my season tickets back.
Iâve spent my own money sending children with disabilities through my sonâs foundation, TJâs Champions, to Washington games. I did that because I love this team. I love this fan base. I love this city.
Why should I keep telling people to believe in something that doesnât believe in me?
This isnât pity.
This is truth.
I still love that Burgundy and Gold.
It still bleeds in my soul.
But now, Iâm asking the people Iâve always stood forâto stand for me.
Start the petition.
Speak up.
Say FREE REV T.
Send it to the Washington Commanders.
Send it to leadership.

If you ever want to know what really happened that night when the Washington Commanders threw the party for the name changeâwhen they moved from the Redskins to the Commandersâlet me tell you the truth.
That night, in the parking lot, I saw @kgskins26, Keith Gray.
I had three of my daughters with me.
I walked up to that man, shook his hand like a grown man, and I told him I wanted to move forward. I told him I forgave him for everything he had done and said to me and my familyâfor the attacks, the disrespect, and the nasty packages sent to my house.
I told him it was a new day.
A new era.
A new name.
I said we should bury the hatchet.
I told him I forgave him.
Then I said, âMan, why donât you apologize to my daughters, and letâs take a picture together to show everybody we unified.â
That was his moment.
Instead, he went into a rage.
He got nasty and said,
âYeah, I did that shit to you. I did that shit to you, Rev.â
Standing right there was Joeyâthe VP over tickets and guest experience for the Commanders.
I looked at Joey and said,
âCan you please get this man out of my face?â
And Joey told me,
âRev, we donât get involved in fan disputes.â
I said,
âSo youâre not going to remove this man from my face?â
He said,
âNo.â
So I gave Keith that Southeast DC push and got him out of my face.
He fell to the ground, got up, and ran away.
Then Rio Robinson started yelling and screaming:
âWe got your address!â
âIâll send my dad and his people to your house to f*** you up, Rev!â
âWe got your address!â
That was said publicly.
Washington Roadboy was there.
Other fans were there.
Tailgate Ted was nearby and saw parts of it.
There were witnesses.
But when the Commanders said they âinvestigated,â guess what?
They didnât get statements from the people who were actually there.
They only took statements from Keith Gray and Rio Robinson.
The same two people who went home that night and jumped on social mediaâespecially Twitterâlaughing, celebrating, and bragging:
âYeah, we got Rev T banned.â
âRev T ainât coming back.â
âWe got his ass banned.â
They were proud of it.
They celebrated it.
Meanwhile, I was the one banned.
The same Keith Gray that some of yâall praise today was the same man coming to my tailgates trying to harass me, talking about having a âhunting partyâ to come look for Rev T.
Those are the things I reported to the Washington Commanders.
And what did they do?
Nothing.
Instead, they invited him to Redskin Park.
They gave him access.
They let him meet Jason Wright.
So make that make sense.
The man harassing me and my family got rewarded.
And Rev T got banned.
Thatâs the truth.
Not rumors.
Not gossip.
Facts.
Receipts.
So before you ask where Rev T wentâ
before you ask why I disappearedâ
before you ask why I donât uplift this organization the same way anymoreâ
Now you know.
FREE REV T.
The Peopleâs Hype Man.
REV T.
Believe, baby.
