Every engineer is now a product manager. You don’t evaluate code. You evaluate the system.

GitHub so slow I just asked codex to wire up a local hosted runner. So anyway now docker does my CI. Just ask codex.

On a plane, landing to a faster codex.
Day 1/ We have optimized the default speed to be ~50% faster across GPT-6 Astra and GPT-6.1 Sol through the subscription across all our products and partners using Sign in With ChatGPT (including OpenCode, Pi, Amp, Devin, ...). No changes needed on your end and this should be felt within the next two hours.

Why are you reviewing the code? That’s what the agents are for.
how do you even review something like this

Any sufficiently advanced technology is indistinguishable from magic. If your tools exceed your own capabilities, they are magic tools. If you rely on tools more capable than yourself it’s easy to let go of critical thinking and ascribe greater meaning/importance on that tool.
I am very uncomfortable about people trying to ascribe religious force or a surrender of human judgment to AI models, and think it is a real safety issue.

My god this is such a good speech that every SWE needs to hear. You know what? Every person should hear it Keep the happy memories, eyes on the reality, be excited about the future. That’s the best that anyone can do

Yo wtf is this!? And what is the answer for product folks? Asking for…. Reasons.
yo is this actually good advice?
29
This is the way.
Hot take: If you're against vibe coding because “you have to look at the code,” remember: For the past 20 years, product managers have rarely looked at the code. They look at the result: UX, performance, security, and whether the product actually works. Not to say vibe code saves you weeks of development

WAIT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
HOLY MOTHER OF MATHEMATICS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Google is working on a math-focused variant of its DeepThink model, and its raw thoughts are pretty funny.

This changes everything.
After co-inventing ChatGPT, I kept asking myself: why have superhuman chat models not led to AGI? I’ve spent the last 2 years in stealth building a new way to train models (RLCD), and a new type of frontier AI model that we are releasing today: Jev • 20-200x faster • 40-400x cheaper (w/ output tokens free) • Frontier composable intelligence optimized for decisions AFAICT the shortest path to AI-based economic revolution
