I only have 3 rules in business. #1. Build an email list. #2. Build an email list. #3. Build an email list. Algorithms change. Your email list is forever. It's like insurance for business owners.

You don't need a massive team to build a million-dollar media business. Just 3 ingredients: 1. Paid Ads 2. Email 3. Content Most people work really hard on a business model that doesn't scale. The solution? Apply your edge to something that does. That's leverage. That's how wealth is built.

When in doubt, subtract. We have a tendency to ADD new things. But often, the answer is to SUBTRACT. Do LESS but BETTER.

You can BUY a 7-figure business for $100k. Let's break down the math. On average, acquiring an email using Facebook ads costs $2. (You can do it for less, but let's be conservative. I recommend using FB lead ads.) For $100K, you now have an email list of 50,000 email subscribers. Select your favorite revenue buckets. Sell 200 copies of a $150 digital course = $30,000 20 premium ad spots = $10,000 per month Affiliate promotions = $10,000+ per month Yes. It will take you a few months to recoup your entire ad cost, but you now have a 7-figure business that will continue to pay you month after month. As long as you email consistently, create great content, and have FUN!

To give a little extra context. Pricing can vary quite a bit from one market to the next. In our market (food and recipes), we pay between 10 to 20 cents per email using Facebook Lead Ads.

You don't own your Twitter audience. You don't own your LinkedIn followers. You don't own your Facebook fans. You don't own your Google traffic. Every platform is rented space. But your email list? That's yours. That's the real estate you actually own. Leverage every traffic source to get people ONTO your email list.

People overcomplicate business. You only need 3 things: Paid ads. Email. Content. Pick ONE ad platform (I like Facebook). Use Kit to manage your list. Create good content. That's how I've personally grown our million-dollar media business (post Google algorithm updates). KEEP. IT. SIMPLE.

Constraints = Creativity. • Only 280 characters? You write for impact. • One-hour deadline? No time to overthink. • No budget? You get scrappy. • No team? AI becomes your team. • Just 30 minutes for a video? One take. No edits. • Only one tool? Build a SIMPLE business on Kit. Email, landing pages, products. All in one dashboard.

Stop overthinking. Hit publish. Tweak later. Success loves momentum more than perfection.

I love paying the "Convenience Tax". Doordash? Yes. Grocery delivery? Yes. Amazon Prime? Yes. House cleaner? Yes. Lawn care? Yes. Buying back time is the best investment there is.

Creating is an infinite game. The more you do it, the more you want to do it. The more you share, the more you want to express. The finish line keeps moving, but that's the point. It's not about being done. It's about being alive.

"You're playing by rules that don't exist." This is one of my favorite quotes from Alex Hormozi. We often limit ourselves by following imaginary rules and conventions that don't actually exist. We hold ourselves back from trying new things or pursuing big goals because we believe there are unspoken "rules" we have to follow, when in fact those limitations are just in our own minds. When we free ourselves from these imaginary constraints, it allows us to play the game of business (and life) at a completely different level. Operating with this mindset enables us to take actions, pursue strategies and set goals that most people wouldn't, because they're still stuck following outdated assumptions and norms. You might stand out from the crowd or even get some funny looks. But you'll have the results you want.

Delegation... so much easier said than done. I'm challenging myself to delegate one new task every week. What are some key things you're currently delegating? Feels like I'm always learning. And of course... making plenty of mistakes along the way. No one seems to tell you that part.

Life is an equation of inputs and outputs. We overcomplicate it with emotion and analysis.
