I recently had my first baby, and during pregnancy I kept wishing there was a different kind of pregnancy app. So I started building one. today is day 1 of building in public. if you have any advice for me, it's definitely appreciated!

Apply this strategy to your own apps right now: 1. Create viral feature with a clear visual payoff 2. Record a short demo 3. Make several versions with different hooks 4. Test them through Trial Reels + TikTok 5. Track retention, installs and paying users 6. Make more variations of the format that converts Let conversion and views pick the winning format

Building an app while taking care of a newborn is an interesting experience 😂 Some days i get a lot done, some days barely anything. But slowly, things are coming together. Just trying to stay consistent and enjoy the process.

Building the app is one thing. Figuring out how to get people to actually discover it is another. I think marketing might be the skill I need to learn the most right now.

nothing huge happened today. just fixed a few things, made some small improvements, and kept going. I’m starting to realize this is what building actually looks like most days.

trying to get better at one thing: less thinking about whether I can build something. more actually building it.

It's over. Claude Design is generating insane UI, designs & animations from just text. Design will never be the same 🤯 10 wild examples:

Google Stitch has released 𝗗𝗘𝗦𝗜𝗚𝗡.𝗺𝗱 🤯 One markdown file that teaches your AI coding agent your entire design system. → No Figma exports → No JSON schemas → Nothing to configure The part that saves the most time: A free collection of 40+ pre-built files already exists, extracted from real products. Stripe, Vercel, Linear, Notion, Lovable, Claude, ElevenLabs, Cursor, Warp, Zapier, and more. Drop it in your project root. Claude Code, Cursor, Gemini CLI, and GitHub Copilot all read it natively. 100% Free and Open-Source.

Didn’t write much code today. Mostly thinking, rethinking, and adjusting small things. Still feels like progress.

The more I build, the more I realize, thinking through the flow is harder than writing the code 🤞

Spent today moving boxes around on a whiteboard. No code written. Still felt productive. User flow is a whole different skill🧠

Building my first mobile app🤞 Turns out UI is the easy part. It's the user flow that makes your brain hurt 🧠

I’m new to building mobile apps and curious what AI tools people are using these days? Rork AI, Anything AI, or something else?
