The resurrection. At the tomb, a woman would be the first to see and speak with the resurrected Jesus. These set the stage for the empty tomb where it was women who first encountered the resurrected Jesus & where the full gospel of the death & resurrection of Jesus would unfold.
The Messiah had come to the Samaritans. The Samaritan woman received the news that he was the Messiah, whom the Samaritans were also expecting, since they claimed theirs was the true religion of the ancient Israelites.
Gentiles would be in the kingdom. The Gentile woman was told by Jesus that he was sent not only to Israel, but to all people, which included her.
Women could learn the scriptures. The Jewish woman, Mary of Bethany, was welcomed by Jesus to sit at his feet right beside the men, and learn at a time when learning scripture was forbidden to women.
Jesus gave every message of importance to women: Women could learn the scriptures, Gentiles would be in the kingdom, The Messiah had come to the Samaritans, The resurrection. These are pivotal stories because they show that Jesus gives the voice of the gospel to women.

Show me the scripture where God deputizes men to lead wives and women, and for Pete's sake, forget Gen 3:16 because that is simply a picture of the sex act and having a baby to continue populating the earth.
Show me the scripture where Jesus tells women that men will be their heads in marriage and in the future church.
Show me the scripture where Jesus says He will farm out women to husbands to rule over their wives after Jesus is gone back into the heavens.
