🧵As the recent influx of migrants to Altrincham hit the national news this week, here is an insider account of what is going on, how the locals have reacted and the response of politicians and officials that hasn't been mentioned in the media.
It actually is our god-given right. Australia is British and therefore my home. Just as it should be any Australian’s god-given right to come to Britain.

Great to see that my 2 options regarding Fairford is that I either believe they’re “British” nationals who wanted to blow up an army base in the name of Iran or some other foreign cause.

Part of the reason why we've arrived at this impasse is that the asylum system was never designed for such scenarios.
Some will argue "safe routes" would stop this but it can't be introduced when the means of deportation is essentially legally impossible and everyone, including those in Portsmouth tonight, knows that.
A complete overhaul is desperately needed. We're playing by rules written for a different era.
Somewhat overlooked but these are second order consequences to the mass influx of different cultures into our country. Where once fireworks were limited to Bonfire Night and New Year we now have significant disturbances ranging from Diwali to Chinese New Year resulting in some sort of ethnic celebration every month.
Naturally this will upset our pet owning and boomer core who will incessantly complain to the council but at government level it won't be elaborated on bar further regulation.
Outcome will be restrictions in place that only the native population will adhere to. You'll get no such restraint from other communities (and it's not as if we could police such a thing anymore anyway)

I want to be really clear about what our aim is following yesterday’s historic victory.
Win the next general election, and I have never been more confident we are going to do exactly that.
What happening in Great Yarmouth was seismic.
Turnout soared. We brought thousands of people to the polling station who have never voted before. We got more votes in this local election than I received in the general election.
The implications of it all must not be underestimated.
Despite everything Reform threw at us, we decimated them in every single seat. Farage said we wouldn't win one percent. He was right. We won almost fifty.
The nine wards across Great Yarmouth are so varied. From Winterton in the rural north, to the urban centre of Great Yarmouth itself.
We won the nine seats, and the borough council by election, but within those wider seats we won every single ward by a mile.
If we can win in every one of those areas, we can win anywhere.
As I promised, we are going to give the British people a genuine alternative - we are going to provide an option to elect people from outside the rotten political establishment.
We did that in Great Yarmouth, and we delivered a landslide victory.
That was step one. Now, we go national.
Great Yarmouth First, then we Restore Britain.

Putting aside the moralism of the argument it’s telling that Ed Davey would ban Kanye West from coming to Britain on the basis of writing a song about Hitler being antisemitic rather than it being offensive to the British people who lost over 300,000 of her own soldiers at the hands of the Nazis. This is before the hundreds of thousands of civilians killed during their bombing raids.
If any migrant families in this country are living in poverty then logically speaking they serve no purpose here and should be deported. We can’t save everybody.
Actually incredible seeing the response to this from politicians across the spectrum. An incident which didn’t cause any loss of life or injury has compelled the PM to cancel his schedule for the day. He then convenes a meeting of several cabinet members and senior figures within hours in order to convey a “response”. Opposition, like Suella, in full support despite nobody knowing the details of the event yet. Astonishing from an institute ordinarily immune to efficiency.
