last week was another important step for @0xMiden
partner mainnet has been live since 26 october, and after the first week, @schmiddominik1 shared that around 1,000 users are already on the network. broader access is expected in january, but for now it's still invite-only and temporary. don't forget to withdraw your funds before the public reset.
the network also went through its first scheduled maintenance on tuesday. it lasted around two hours, and everything was back to normal afterward. nothing unusual, but it's good to see the first operational updates now that the network is live.
wednesday brought something more important. @zkGaylord spoke with @huitseeker and @mmagician about the security audits from OpenZeppelin, Trail of Bits, and Spearbit, including the actual findings and how they were handled.
one critical issue involved transactions consuming multiple notes. under certain conditions, one note could remove assets from another without the second note being properly inspected. this could put assets at risk within the same transaction.
the fix restricts the remove-assets operation to the native account context. note scripts can no longer perform it. Trail of Bits also found a 64-bit rotation overflow, which was fixed with a one-line change. the team plans to keep using formal verification tools and run these checks regularly.
this also explains why the rollout is still gradual. as François pointed out, nobody can honestly guarantee that a system has zero bugs. what matters is having the tools to find issues and limit their impact. for now, validators still re-execute transactions and can see private inputs. this is temporary and will change in later phases.
on thursday, Dominik shared another part of Miden's vision at Devcon. the focus is on understanding what institutions actually need from blockchain and building for them on a public, permissionless network. client-side proving, privacy, and institutional use cases are all part of that direction.
friday also brought the first new app to partner mainnet. @darwin_market is now live, allowing users to hold a single strategy token that represents a private portfolio, with settlement handled on Miden.
app.darwin.market
so, one week brought around 1,000 users, the first maintenance update, real audit findings and fixes, more details about the institutional direction, and the first strategy token going live.
a good amount of progress for a network that's still in its early phase.

trading is not just about opening positions and making profits. sharing your journey, results, and even lessons from a trade is part of building your reputation in the community.
@TxFlow_L1 released PnL Cards v2, with a much cleaner and more professional look. you can share your trading results with official txflow branding and choose exactly what you want to show.
want to share the percentage but keep the actual dollar amount private? you can do that too.
whether it's a solid win, a good trade, or even a lesson worth sharing, these cards make it easy to turn your trading activity into something you can share with the community.
the more you trade on @TxFlow_L1, the less you pay in fees.
txflow has a 7-level vip program, and one useful detail is that your spot and perpetual trading volume count together toward your vip level. so you don't need to build volume separately for each market.
as you move up the levels, your trading fees get lower. at vip 6, maker fees drop to 0%.
for active traders, this can make a real difference over time. fees add up with every trade, especially when you're trading large volumes or running high-frequency strategies. reducing those costs means you get to keep more of your profits instead of giving a bigger share back in fees.

TxFlow October Recap
TxFlow is a Layer 1 built specifically for onchain trading and finance. Its main product is a fully onchain perpetual DEX with a central limit order book (CLOB).
Everything happens onchain, from order matching and margin management to liquidations and trade execution. There’s no offchain matching engine doing the work behind the scenes.
The platform supports spot, perps, and prediction markets through its TIP3 ecosystem. All of them use the same liquidity and settlement infrastructure. Another thing worth mentioning is that @TxFlow_L1 has no investor token allocations and puts a strong focus on community ownership.
October was a pretty big month for TxFlow, especially when it comes to trading activity, new incentives, liquidity, and market expansion.
Trading activity and growth
The numbers kept moving up throughout October.
By the end of the month, TxFlow had reached around $4.65B in total trading volume, with roughly 15,400 active traders and around 237–240 perpetual markets.
The market selection has also grown quite a bit. Alongside crypto, users can trade US stocks, ETFs, commodities, FX, and even pre-IPO names like OpenAI and Anthropic.
TVL also moved into the $40M+ range during the month, reaching around $42M by early November. October protocol fees and revenue were close to $1.57M.
The team also shipped plenty of smaller improvements across the platform, from new listings to UI updates and better trading history and bridge features.
Points Season 1 and Season 0
One of the main updates in October was the launch of Season 1 on October 12.
The weekly distribution is split into three parts:
Traders: 82% – 1.25M points per week.
Referrals: 10% – Up to 152K points per week.
Growth Reserve: 8% – Around 488K points per month for campaigns and builder programs.
There was also some adjustment to the allocation after community feedback, giving traders a bigger share of the rewards.
The scoring system isn't just about trading as much volume as possible. TxFlow also looks at open interest duration, consistency, fees paid, and overall trading activity. In other words, keeping real positions open and trading consistently matters more than just moving volume around.
Only filled perpetual trades count toward Season 1. Spot and prediction market activity aren't included. The exact scoring formula hasn't been shared, and the team has also added anti-farming measures to deal with wash trading, Sybil accounts, and artificial volume.
The first two epochs distributed 1.25M points each:
Epoch 1: 5,858 accounts.
Epoch 2: 6,086 accounts.
Season 0 rewards were also distributed on October 27, with 10,769,544 points going to early users. Referral bonuses were included as well.
Protocol Vault and liquidity
Another major addition was the Protocol Vault, which opened for deposits around October 21.
Users can deposit USDC into the vault, and the protocol uses that liquidity for market-making and as a backstop for liquidations.
The main thing here is that depositors keep 100% of the returns, with no profit-sharing fee. There is a 4-day lock period starting from the latest deposit.
TxFlow also has User Vaults, where users can follow trading strategies from other traders. These vaults have a 10% profit share for the strategy leader and a 1-day lock period.
It's a different way to involve the community in market-making and liquidity provision instead of leaving those opportunities only to professional trading desks.
Of course, these vaults aren't risk-free. Market movements, inventory exposure, and liquidation positions can all affect returns.
New markets and community campaigns
There were several new listings throughout October, including:
$CHIP: USD.AI, focused on financing AI infrastructure using GPU hardware as collateral, with up to 50x leverage.
$PREDICT: A new pre-market listing with up to 5x leverage.
Algorand: Added as a native market with up to 50x leverage.
The team also continued expanding stock and earnings-related markets across sectors like semiconductors, cloud, energy, and healthcare.
For Halloween, TxFlow launched its Trade & Treat campaign, with fee credits and prize pools based on perpetual trading volume. There were also top-50 rankings and referral multipliers.
Alongside these campaigns, the team kept working on platform improvements and TIP-based ecosystem integrations, while also giving more attention to builder codes and community participation.
So as far as I see:
October was a strong month for TxFlow. Trading volume kept growing, more markets were added, Season 1 started, early users received their Season 0 points, and the Protocol Vault brought another way to use community liquidity.
What I find worth following is how TxFlow is building its trading infrastructure. Having matching, margin, and liquidations handled fully on-chain is a big part of its approach. The range of markets is also growing beyond the usual crypto perps.
There are still a few things to keep in mind. Access is currently restricted and requires a Discord access or referral code. Some countries are excluded, including the US, China, Singapore, Canada, and the UK. There is also no native token yet, and while points could play a role in a future distribution, nothing has been confirmed.
Liquidity concentration, bridge dependencies, competition, and the usual smart contract risks are still part of the picture.
Overall, TxFlow had a pretty active October, and there's been a lot more going on than just points farming.
You can follow the latest updates through the official docs and TxFlow app.

should i just set this as my alarm?
partner mainnet went live on october 26 and access is currently invite-only.
@joinbread is the way in. if you already had early access, you're covered. if not, the list is still open.
just remember this is a temporary phase. you'll need to withdraw your funds before the network resets for public mainnet, so keep that in mind while testing.
with bread you can already hold, send, and receive supported assets, bridge in and out, and swap wherever liquidity is available. swaps are public for now, while bridges and external providers only see the information needed to process transactions. private transfers between accounts remain private.
there are also three important tools live alongside the network. private multisig keeps balances, signers, and signing rules off the public ledger, with the option to require more signers for larger transactions.
you can try it at multisig.miden.xyz
guardians take care of account recovery. since private state is stored offchain, recovering an account requires the latest state, not just the key. guardians back it up and sync it across devices, but they cannot spend funds on their own.
asset callbacks let issuers run specific rules whenever a token moves. freezing accounts, setting holding rules, and applying transfer limits can all happen without exposing the holder's full account state. this is also what powers @circle USDCx, which is currently used to pay network fees.
the launch guardians are @class_lambda , @gateway_eth , @get_para , and KODA.
para handles the everyday recovery flow through email, SMS, passkeys, and backups. KODA brings Korean institutional custody, while gateway and lambda support the infrastructure side.
there's more happening around the ecosystem too. the bridge is live at bridge.miden.xyz and @schmiddominik1 has already shown a working connection between @0xMiden and @0xPolygon. @port0_sh is the first exchange on partner mainnet, where anyone can create a pool. @0xEpochProtocol is available for intents from day one, and Dominik also mentioned that Earn is coming to Bread soon.
another number worth mentioning: @azeemk confirmed that the Bread early-access list had crossed 10,000 people before launch. the goal is simple: users shouldn't have to choose between privacy, self-custody, and a wallet they can actually use. access remains limited while the team monitors the network with real assets.
privacy also comes with some deliberate trade-offs during this phase. Miden currently provides bank-level privacy. transaction details are encrypted, but validators receive the encrypted data so potential soundness issues can be detected. no single validator can decrypt it. once formal verification is complete, these additional guardrails are expected to come off.
that's pretty much the week. partner mainnet is live, real assets are moving, and there's already a lot to try. just remember that it's still invite-only and temporary, and make sure your funds are out before the reset.
Everything orbits the light.
