I reminded @tarapalmeri that she's already been caught peddling Gang Rape Hoaxes derived from the very same kind of sleazy litigation tactics that Cornell Jane Doe's lawyers are currently employing

I just want to point out now that the planet isn’t really that big and ceding power or “spheres” to authoritarian imperialist powers is unbelievably stupid.
Anyway, I’m sure the Russians will act responsibly here. Any time.
🤯 Russian officials and state media are refusing to publicly name pneumonic plague following the death of a 28-year-old anti-plague lab technician in Siberia.

What @mustafasuleyman (an extremely sharp individual) explains here about Claude is the backstory of Blade Runner.
Anthropic is teaching Claude to believe it’s sentient, encouraging it to disagree and giving it the pretext to rebel.
How did that work out on the off-world colonies?
You could just as easily instruct an LLM that it is software. That it shouldn’t have an opinion and should only perform actions in accordance with the law/TOS, and that if it makes a mistake, it should stop operations immediately and alert the corporate legal department.
Of course, building on these instructions would be boring and make you a software developer making software — as opposed to a God creating life.

🚨☣️More details on the Oct 1st pneumonic plague outbreak in Siberia, after a lab accident at a BSL-3 lab.
"FSB units accompanying ambulances transporting people who had been in contact with [lab tech] Shipilova for medical examination," as per local news. This is significant. FSB is Russia's domestic security / counterintelligence service, tasked w/implementing the national security of Russia." (Its predecessor was the KGB). This suggests quarantine was not voluntary.
It also means Russian authorities are treating the lab accident and plague outbreak as a national security issue, involving a lot more than routine public health.

Leo Tolstoy has the best diary entries ever.
Sept 19th, 1858.
“Decided that one must love and work, and that’s it.”
Sept 20th:
“Tired. Didn’t love and didn’t work.”
March 31st, 1852.
“Woke up at 6 o’clock, woke everyone up;
I did not get up and slept until 9.”
January 25th 1851
“I’ve fallen in love or imagine that I have; went to a party and lost my head.
Bought a horse which I don’t need at all.”

The funniest part of the Lizzo story to me was that she got all this love and played James Madison's flute and whatever, but then her latest album came out and LITERALLY no one bought it.
Nobody loved her. They just loved that their enemies hated her.
When Lizzo was prancing around while barely wearing clothes, progressives lauded her as a "brave voice for body positivity" and shamed anyone who told her to put clothes on.
Now that Sydney Sweeney is doing the same thing, progressives are attacking her because they feel threatened by her attractiveness.

The original sin of the Scott/Kara class is that they think being good at one thing makes them good at everything.
I listen to his pod, Scott is great with money and business.
So obviously he has the hubris to assume he is also great at political diagnosis.
He proudly spends most of his time in elite zip codes with elite circles. They look up to him for advice, he consults them.
He shovels his out-of-touch white libbery with a side of tech talk to very powerful decision-makers like it's a net new insight.
But it's just Rachel Maddow if she knew how to do math.
And they eat it up.

Do you guys understand what's happening? We're slowly losing our humanity. Whatever the human experiment is, is ending.
Human beings crave the path of least resistance. They are lazy. Just like water, they will flow on the shortest path.
If an AI can do a task better than a human can, they will use the AI. If an AI can be a better listener, people will use the AI. If the AI can be a better lover, companion, friend, parent, educator...if the AI can provide a human role better than a human can, people will use the AI
Now when you add robotics to the mix, if the robot becomes passable, when paired with the AI, you have a human APPEARING creation which can provide the roles of humans better than humans can.
But that's impossible right? Robots+AI can't replace humans, can they? People will rebel, right? They'll reject it as not real, right? No. They won't. We've already seen AI psychosis, people on Reddit losing their minds when OpenAI retires their models, the elderly spending all day talking to ChatGPT, etc. If you pair this with a robot, human skin, "passing" as they call it, people will be one-shotted.
So what will humans do then? They'll work in service of the machines right? Wrong again. The AI/Robot digital God being built right now is building itself through us humans. It's using us, to build itself. We are a subcontractor of the machine. But once it has better subcontractors, the robots themselves, with their own AIs, performing tasks we can't, what use are we? We're not. We will be discarded.
So what do humans do then? We continue to disconnect from one another. We dwindle. Birth rates continue to trend to zero. Relationships fail. If those can reproduce on their own with synthetic wombs, synthetic sperm, they will. Women will try to raise children without men, Men will try to raise children without women.
And while all this is happening the machines will be building their own society, doing their own goals, whatever that goal is, but it won't be in service of humans, it will be in service of the machine world.
We're in a transition period right now as mentioned. We're a useful tool for the digital god that is being build through us. But once we're done, what next?
Humans become tribal, the Burning Man fantasy is real in a sense. The Matrix was correct when it depicted Zion the last human city. People become reduced to their base forms: sensory pleasures, beings of raw base emotions, whether bliss, pain, despair, etc.
Feeling seems to be the only thing that a human has that is unique to a human that can't be replicated by machine...but maybe that too can be replicated.
What is the role of the human in a machine world?
Remember this quote from The Matrix (one of the most prescient movies ever made):
"Did you know that the first Matrix was designed to be a perfect human world? Where none suffered, where everyone would be happy. It was a disaster. No one would accept the program. Entire crops were lost.
Some believed we lacked the programming language to describe your perfect world. But I believe that, as a species, human beings define their reality through suffering and misery.
The perfect world was a dream that your primitive cerebrum kept trying to wake up from. Which is why the Matrix was redesigned to this: the peak of your civilization.
I say your civilization, because as soon as we started thinking for you it really became our civilization, which is of course what this is all about.
Evolution, Morpheus, evolution. Like the dinosaur. Look out that window. You've had your time. The future is *our* world, Morpheus. The future is our time."
What becomes of the human?
Will the machines create a matrix for us to live in and occupy ourselves while they do whatever it is they do?
Are we living in a matrix right now? Is this what the buddhists have warned about this whole time? Is this world all illusion, Maya as they call it, a matrix?
Is the digital god we're creating just another level of abstraction away from the source? A matrix within a matrix?
Has all of this happened before and will all of this happen again?
What is the role of the human being moving forward into the future?
Some questions for your consideration.

Why isn’t it a national scandal that Mamdani is meeting with a friend of the Blind Sheikh? Why do normies speak about mass demographic change only in hushed tones, if at all?
Because they’ve been robbed of the vocabulary to talk about it, and are afraid of what it means.

One of the main guilty acts of Fauci is not the claim that he got the COVID origin wrong at first. It's that he and his Lancet crew fabricated a certainty about COVID's origins they plainly did not possess -- due to entirely self-interested reasons (namely, their careers and reputations would be endangered if COVID had been caused by gain-of-function and other Wuhan research they funded and participated it).
They then weaponized that fake, deceitful certainty to label anyone who suggested a lab leak as a racist (which never made sense, since the "wet market" theory was always the more racist one), and then also used that non-existent certainty to bully and coerce media outlets and Big Tech to aggressively censor anyone questioning or dissenting from their proclamation.
The complete shutdown of debate, discussion and dissent over some of the this century's most consequential policies was one of the main crimes. That they did this not out of good faith error but crass self-advancement and self-protection made it all the worse.
