Seeing AI art being featured on the main page of Artstation saddens me. I love playing with MJ as much as anyone else, but putting something that was generated using a prompt alongside artwork that took hundreds of hours and years of experience to make is beyond disrespectful.
Progress was made.

This quote from Phil Tippet is 100% true. As soon as I feel like I’m just a hired wrist I will mentally detach from the project and the mediocrity will gush. The kicker is that despite being hired for our ability / taste / knowledge, our opinion is often the least valid.
