So glad our State legislature is going out of their way to make sure all TWO transgender girl athletes in high school sports last year aren't "taking opportunities from female athletes."
Or all ZERO this year!

I've posted a few life updates here before, but this one's definitely my favorite. Can't believe I'm lucky enough to spend the rest of my life with you!

There are plenty of women that would dog walk you talking ball.
Regardless of what y’all macho dudes think, football is for everyone. It ain’t rocket science. You can study it and learn the game.
Plenty of analysts and coaches are amazing at it and never played.
It was awesome talking with several K-Wings legends about the newest member of our retired jersey club!
It's only fitting we honor No. 11's legendary status ahead of Legacy Night!
Brent Jarrett commemorative bobbleheads go to tonight's fans, and Collin Murphy has the report!

Ok so who's ready to join me on the Chase Utley bandwagon?
I'd probably vote for 8 total this year: Beltran, Beltre, Helton, Jones, Mauer, A-Rod, Utley, Wagner
Good. Everyone leaving is doing so to chase money, I'd much rather see them get their piece than be left in the dust with nothing.
A superstar on my favorite team that helped develop my love for baseball. Gracias, Miggy. See you in Cooperstown.
This is how you send off a legend!
@MiguelCabrera walks off the field for the final time to a rousing ovation in Detroit! 👏
Pleased and excited to announce I've started a new job as a graduate assistant for athletic communications at Lewis University!
There's too many people to thank in a tweet, and I'm thrilled to continue learning, growing, and succeeding in sports comms. Go Flyers!

To social managers in sports:
You may read 500 bigoted comments on a Pride post.
But if 1 queer person sees that post and feels welcomed in your team’s space, it’s worth publishing it.
Keep speaking up - Happy Pride 🏳️🌈🏳️⚧️

If you're going to uninvite a charity drag group from your Pride night because some people (a Republian Senator from a faraway state?) had "strong feelings" and were "offended," why have Pride night at all?
This quoted post is unavailable.
It's disappointing to see any organization allow people who would rather see them not have a Pride Night to influence what groups they invite to their Pride Night.
It's ESPECIALLY disappointing to see it from the team that had the first LGBTQ+ themed game in major US sports.

Proud of all we accomplished this season!
Wouldn't be possible without the best fans in the ECHL! ❤️
#Kalamazoo, please take a moment to... STAND UP 👏👏👏
You helped knit us into the fabric that is OUR beautiful city over the last 48 seasons, and for that, we're overwhelmed with gratitude.
Together, we'll soar toward another impactful season in 2023-24!

It was a privilege to work with @BenEpstein__ during my time in the Western Herald, and a joy to see the paper's successes this year under his leadership.
Ben has a super bright future ahead of him and I'm proud to be a part of his story.
As the semester comes to a close, the Western Herald says goodbye to its editor-in-chief @BenEpstein__
