Friends- Please share a new survey focused on Genitourinary Syndrome of Lactation (GSL) -a condition that affects many postpartum, lactating individuals but remains under-recognized and under-treated. Many women experience vaginal dryness, atrophy, urinary incontinence, painful intercourse, and impaired healing during lactation, yet these issues are often dismissed or overlooked in postpartum care. We want to change that. Our goal is to better understand the experiences of postpartum individuals, identify their biggest concerns, and help improve awareness and treatment options. We need your help! If you know or work with postpartum and lactating individuals, we want to hear from them. If you work with postpartum patients, please share this survey widely with your colleagues, patients, and professional networks. Attached is a flyer with more details--please feel free to distribute it in clinics, share it with patients, and send it to colleagues who may be interested. Every response brings us closer to addressing an overlooked but important aspect of postpartum care. (Link in the next post because I know linked posts get de-prioritized)
