You should not be surprised to learn that tonight's GoRide session will NOT be on.
Have a great half term and we'll see you on 3rd March.
Ride safe
Due to the weather, the coaches have decided to cancel tonight's Go Ride session.
See you all next week
Ride safe
I am sorry guys, but due to the very cold forecast for this evening then we have reluctantly decided to cancel this evening’s session. When it is like this it is very difficult to keep the kids warm enough and there is a risk of crashes due to ice ☹️
Unfortunately we are going to have to cancel tonight’s Go Ride 12th December) due to the appalling weather ☹️🌧
Hi everyone yet again unfortunately the forecast is set to stay extremely wet so we have cancelled this evening’s GoRide session. Hopefully the weather will improve for next week. Fingers crossed
Hi all, with the Yorkshire under 12 cyclocross champs this Sunday, we are running a cyclocross session this Thursday under the lights on the hilly loop 👍
Don’t forget - no Go Ride at Beckets tonight due to school event. Those with knobbly tyres welcome to CX session at Thornes Park. Meet at college car park usual time. Postcode WF2 8QZ
For those that fancy it, we can set up a short cyclocross course to practice for the forthcoming Turf event 👍
Given that we are due a month’s worth of rain between now and Thursday, and the length of the grass / clippings, then I will NOT be doing a cyclocross session this Thursday.
All sessions will be on the track, although check back later as we all keep an eye on the weather 🤞
Hi all, I am going to run a cyclocross session at tomorrow evening’s Go Ride for those interested in doing summer cross. Or for those who fancy a change. In which case, please fit knobbly tyres. Obviously we will also be running road / track sessions as normal 👍

I remember when my coaching competitors used to discourage road riders from racing ‘cross because it would ruin their seasons. Oh yes, I remember.
The top three favorites for #RondevanVlaanderen are all CX world champions. This does not seem normal.

I’ve been working on a set of principles that I’d like to display alongside sign on at Youth races...
I would appreciate any feedback to ensure that it covers all bases and gets the core message across - creating an environment which is supportive, welcoming and FUN! – at Falkirk, Scotland
That’s a lot of effort for less than an extra 2 mph
A four-man break has formed in the men's #StradeBianche and @TeamSky's @diegoro_89 is in there. Here was his effort from KM35 to KM60 ⚡️
- Time: 43’36”
- Speed: 36.9km/h
- Max speed: 82.6km/h
- Power: 280W
In the bunch, team-mate @GeraintThomas86 averaged 220W at 33.9km/h.
