It's fairly straight forward gameplay. Not very popular but fun. Making the vehicles is the funnest part.

Gaslands. A cheap tabletop game where you build war machines out of cheap toy cars and a few dice. Opposite of Warhammer.

The Nova and 70s GMC stripped to metal in only a few hours. I'm going to leave the metal rough as this is an apocalyptic "Mad Max" like game, so these won't have factory finishes.

Gaslands players: what's the first thing you bolt onto a toy car? Harpoon, flamethrower, or just more ram? :-)

Starting my first #Gaslands vehicles. I checked to make sure they were worth nothing before chopping them apart.

HEAT入れようかと思ったけど、それならウチらしくGaslandsやればいいよね、と思った。
みんな、世紀末カー作ってGaslandsやろうや。
REMEMBERING PATRICK STEWART
Patrick Stewart, the legendary actor best known for portraying Captain Jean-Luc Picard in “Star Trek: The Next Generation” and Professor Charles Xavier in the “X-Men” films, has died at 86.
His family said in a statement: "We announce with great sorrow the passing of Sir Patrick Stewart yesterday at his home in Los Angeles, in the loving care of his beloved wife Sunny, following a brief and poignant journey with Alzheimer’s Disease and Lewy Body Dementia."
"His sonorous voice and singular talent will forever be synonymous with indelible performances in every genre. He explored the human condition in all its poetic complexity and brought hope not only to the far reaches of the Marvel Cinematic Universe, but into science fiction’s most iconic final frontier aboard the Starship Enterprise... He will be remembered for the dignity, compassion and humanity he brought to every role - in his art and life."

I've always been curious about the RPG "Autoduel." Have played GURPS/Ninjas and Superspies, but not this one.

TSR made WHAT?!
Back in 1981–1982, while Dungeons & Dragons was taking the gaming world by storm, TSR was experimenting with something a little different.
MINIGAMES!
For just $2.95, you got a complete little game packaged in a clear plastic case, containing a rulebook, map, counters, and dice.
And the subjects were all over the place!
🧛 Hunt Dracula in Vampyre.
👽 Stop an alien takeover in They’ve Invaded Pleasantville.
⚔️ Battle for control of an alien world in Revolt on Antares.
🐎 Fight alongside the gods at Ragnarok in Viking Gods.
And that was just half the lineup! There were eight games in all, ranging from sword and sorcery adventures to Arctic exploration, space combat, and even the Battle of the Alamo.
The games featured some familiar TSR talent, including Tom Moldvay, Steve Marsh, Jeff Dee, Erol Otus, and Bill Willingham.
And just look at those glorious covers! ❤️
Did you own or play any of TSR’s Minigames? Which one was your favorite?
