A mammogram is an x-ray picture of the breast. Doctors use a mammogram to look for early signs of breast cancer. Here are some tips you can use when getting a mammogram: 💜 Try not to have your mammogram the week before your period or during your period. Your breasts may be tender or swollen then. 💜 Don’t wear deodorant, perfume or powder. These products could show up as white spots on the x-ray. 💜 You may want to wear a top with a skirt or pants instead of a dress. You will need to undress from the waist up for the mammogram. #NationalMammographyDay

We were proud to recently take part in the recent @thefoodbankinc food distribution at the University of Dayton Welcome Stadium, helping support more than 1,900 families with essential resources! 🍎 SICSA Pet Adoption and Wellness Center generously provided pet food to attendees, while @FiveRiversHC offered walk-up mobile health services including free flu vaccines, blood pressure screenings, A1C tests, and assistance with establishing primary care. CareSource contributed dental hygiene products collected during our all-staff event. A heartfelt thank you to the dedicated CareSource employees who volunteered their time and energy to make this event a success. We were so excited to volunteer and make an impact alongside the @univofdayton's men’s and women’s basketball teams 🤝🏀 At CareSource, we are committed to improving the health and well-being of the communities we serve. Thank you to everyone who helped make a difference! 💜 #CareSourceOH #HungerActionMonth

We recently celebrated the inspiring leadership of First Lady @FranDeWine and her unwavering dedication to Ohio’s children and families. Through her innovative initiatives, like the inclusion of @dollyslibrary enrollment as part of the birth certificate paperwork process, Ohio has become a national model for literacy support and child well-being. CareSource is proud to support this vital work alongside the First Lady and Dolly Parton’s Imagination Library of Ohio. These efforts reflect our joint commitment to building stronger, healthier communities by giving every child the foundation they need to thrive. We look forward to continuing this partnership and creating even more opportunities for Ohio’s youngest learners. 💜📖 We extend our heartfelt thanks to Dolly Parton for her lifelong commitment to literacy and dedication to uplifting the communities we all serve.

The CareSource Nevada team was proud to participate in the Nevada Statewide Maternal and Child Health Coalition's Camp Evolution Symposium! Our community marketing team tabling at the event connected directly with members and local impact makers, while our other talented team members, Charlisha and Paulette, shared insights through a presentation on CareSource Nevada's Care Management and Mom & Baby Beginnings Programs. This inspiring event fostered community connection and essential support building. It featured engaging activities and illuminating presentations focused on maternal, child, baby, and family health. By meeting people where they are and strengthening these vital relationships, CareSource continues to fulfill its mission of improving the health and well-being of the communities we serve in the Silver State. 🤝💜 #CareSourceNV

Congratulations to our Ohio CareSource team for winning the prestigious @OhioHealthPlans Pinnacle Award for their innovative Housing Stability Program! 🏆🎉 Recognizing housing instability as a key barrier for Medicaid and MyCare members, CareSource launched this pilot program in May 2024 to provide timely, impactful financial assistance to those at risk of losing their homes. Thanks to this ongoing initiative, more than 100 households received vital support - helping to prevent housing loss, stabilize living situations, and reduce avoidable medical costs. This achievement embodies CareSource’s commitment to innovation, compassion, and community partnership. Aligned with CareSource’s mission to improve the health and well-being of the communities we serve, we’re proud to see our employees’ dedication recognized with this award, an emblem of excellence for health care programs making a real difference. We look forward to expanding this proven model and continuing to inspire better health outcomes across Ohio! 💜🏡 #CareSourceOH
