My NEW Algorithm for the 2026-27 NBA Season 👀👀
Very excited to announce that I’ll be posting a new brand new algorithm this NBA season. After 20+ hours of gathering and testing data, I’ve made an ELITE model that focuses on one thing:
Back-to-backs.
I’ve looked at dozens of variables to find which ones have the greatest effect on a team’s performance given that they’re coming off a game the night prior. Sportsbooks actually often overreact, and I think there is a ton of value in the underdogs.
We’ll be strictly taking spreads, whether that’s tailing or fading the team on a B2B. In testing, my model went 74-33 (69.2% win rate), +37.7 units if taking -110 odds. If you loved my NRFI/YRFI algorithm, I’m expecting this to have a very similar output.
First B2B is October 24th, can’t wait! 😁

📝 How it works: I use 10+ variables to calculate the odds that a team on a B2B covers the spread against a team on a day(s) rest.
📈 How we capitalize: Just like the NRFI algorithm, when the algo says a team has a 60%+ chance to cover, we take their spread. If it’s below a 40% chance, we fade them.
No games meet this criteria today, but we have two more looks tomorrow! 🤝
The good news: Today is the first slate of NBA games eligible for my new algorithm! 😁
