So, theoretically, does this mean any sitting President could order Seal Team 6 to assassinate the Justices who issue an opinion and then replace those Justices with no real legal repercussions?
2 of the 7 seats on the AZ Supreme Court are up for a “retention” vote in 2024, including Clint Bolick, godson of the Justice Clarence Thomas.
Clint's wife, Shawna is an AZ House Rep and was one of the individuals Ginni Thomas emailed to try to overturn the 2020 election 👇
Another example of politically motivated judges. This decision limits the ability of people to seek justice when their local or state government discriminates against them and their ability to vote.
In a bombshell decision that could wind up at the Supreme Court, a panel of conservative judges gutted a key provision of the Voting Rights Act

People really need to understand how mainstream it has become in some tech VC circles to argue that journalism itself is dangerous as an idea and should be abolished, and that it will be up to the tech world to carry this out.

Young people believe in democracy. Perhaps their optimism is rooted in the trust they have in their generation's ability to create change.

Millennials and Gen Z will make up 44% of the electorate in 2024. We have the numbers.
We do not have to agonize for the next two years. We need to invest and organize, but we need to start now.
8 million young people will turn 18 between now and Nov. 5, 2024.
The 2020 popular vote was won by just over 7 million. #2024StartsNow #RocktheVote
I'm just going to keep retweeting this until orgs that empower young voters get the $$ they need to do this work...#2024startsnow #rockthevote

Young voters did what needed to be done in 2022! While we're supporting ballot curing in uncalled districts & activating for runoffs, we are also clear-eyed that mobilizing for 2024 starts NOW!

Young voters showed up and showed out at the polls across the country!
We're looking at historic turnout in 2018, 2020, and again in 2022; it's time to admit that we deserve a seat at the table. 🧵
Let’s get this story right.
This wasn’t the red wave as predicted bc of young voters. Period.
Young voters were the only age group with strong majority support for Ds. Middle age voters were only 3+ D and older voters went 10+ GOP 👇🏾👇🏾👇🏾
Why? Bc they saw progress on the issues they care about (climate, guns, student debt, etc.) and candidates who want to continue that progress. They showed up for ballot measures.
It was and continues to be an honor working with such champions on and off the court!
Happy Birthday, @RockTheVote!
