Just a tip for the YNs out there, any time you find yourself *for any reason* typing up a wall of text to send a woman just delete it and set down your phone and walk away and give yourself the gift of having one less cringe moment to regret back on in five years

It’s actually a much bigger conflict of interest for the films director to be given a share of the documentary profits, if you think about it.
My experience with reta was eating more simple carbs because nausea + lack of appetite made protein and vegetables harder to stomach

What is the etiquette here, should women be posting sad-looking photos so that the media can illustrate their murder with the appropriate emotional tone?

Law professor Josh Blackman called the NYT out on politically labeling conservatives more often than liberals, and editor Patrick Healy acknowledged he was right:
“It can come off like The Times treats liberals as normal and conservatives as unique and worthy of labeling.”
Possibly the difference between those who focus on nutrition and those who don't is about people who are sensitive to small differences in how they feel, maybe because they're already tracking that due to chronic illness—and maybe they're correct about how Food ABC makes them feel, maybe it's all placebo!
I'm very insensitive to this, possibly because I've never actually reduced my diet to such simplicity that i would notice a change in one ingredient
"How did I feel? Sometimes good and sometimes bad, in ways I could sometimes connect to food and sometimes couldn’t."
At some point I noticed that more and more people seemed to be telling me: everything you think you know about food is wrong. This led me down a rabbit hole that I’ve come to think of as “dark nutrition.” I wrote about this whole world for @NYTmag nytimes.com/2026/10/21/magaz…
There are actually lovely nooks at Slutcon where you can read poetry and classic literature
