Our thoughts and best wishes are with the building residents and Toronto First Responders who were injured and affected in this fire. Ontario was the last Province in Canada that required newly constructed high-rise residential buildings to be protected with residential fire sprinklers. This has left many of these existing buildings in Ontario with NO fire sprinkler protection. Ontario needs to amend the Ontario Fire Code and require these high-rise residential buildings to be retro fitted and install Residential Fire Sprinklers to help prevent these devastating and dangerous fires. #FireSprinklersSavesLives @ONFireChiefs @Toronto_Fire @omfpoa @NFPA @ONFireMarshal
