Case 130: Joe Cinque
On Sunday, October 26, 1997, an emergency dispatcher in Canberra received a frantic call from a young woman requesting an ambulance for a suspected heroin overdose.
At a townhouse on Antill Street, paramedics found 26-year-old Joe Cinque unresponsive. His girlfriend, Anu Singh, threw herself over his body, pleading, “You have to bring him back… It wasn’t supposed to happen this way! We were supposed to go together.”
It was clear this was no ordinary overdose. But was it an accident?

In 2011, a woman's body was discovered in a California vineyard.
The circumstances were unlike anything investigators had encountered before. Whoever was responsible had seemingly gone to extraordinary lengths to conceal her identity.
For more than a decade, she was known only as Jane Doe.
Then detectives finally got a name: Ada.
But identifying her was only the beginning.
From Olivia LaVoice, the creator of The Bakersfield Three, comes Ada, a seven-part investigative series from Casefile Presents.
Coming October 26.

Case 137: Arlis Perry
19-year-old Arlis Perry took her Christian faith seriously. On the night of October 12, 1974, after an argument with her husband, Bruce, she went to Stanford Memorial Church to pray. When she failed to return, Bruce reported her missing.
In the early hours of the morning, night watchman Stephen Crawford discovered Arlis brutally murdered in what appeared to be a satanic ritual. With several other young women murdered near Stanford University in recent years, investigators questioned whether her death was an isolated attack or part of something bigger.
