As Mississippi State senior forward Favour Nwaedozi heads into the 2026-27 season, she stands firmly established as one of the most dominant, relentless rebounders and interior forces in the SEC.
Coming off a stellar junior campaign where she finished as one of only four players in the conference to average a double-double (12.2 points and a team-leading 10.0 rebounds per game), Nwaedozi proved her elite glass-cleaning dominance by racking up 15 double-doubles.
Her phenomenal physical presence and high-motor play were on full display all season as she became the only player in the SEC—and one of just 12 nationwide—to record multiple 20-plus rebound games, highlighted by a monstrous 23-board performance against Southern Miss and 21 boards against No. 7 Kentucky.
Nwaedozi possesses great size at 6-foot-3, incredible interior efficiency (52.9% from the field), and a relentless knack for controlling the paint, Nwaedozi enters her senior year ready to anchor Sam Purcell’s frontcourt as an absolute powerhouse. 🐮🏀 #HailState #ncaaw #SECWBB #WBB
