I have a job. I post art almost everyday. Maybe this logic is a bit... flawed. Everyday, after work and dinner, I just draw until I have to go to bed. Consistant posting of art doesn't mean someone is unemployed...

You can actually tell how employed an artist is by their social media usage: 1) Posting art and their own work almost every single day? Unemployed / relying on social media for their income. 2) Posting and reposting random bullshit everyday or not posting at all? Employed.

I think people forget that, many times, fanfiction is just a way for writers to present a theory or interpretation of a character or event, so community engagement doesn’t literally mean people kissing the ground they walk on. They just want to find people to nerd out with.

Fact: Vietnamese were forced to learn Chinese, then our ancestor said fuck this and invented our own version of writing in protest. We were never a part of China. They tried to take over us for thousands of years and always met resistance and had to fuck off in the end.

It was chosen by our government as national script, and people agreed to it. If Vietnamese kings and people back then had agreed to using and speaking Chinese we would've done so thousands of years ago. Vietnamese never wanted to be Chinese. So saying we are is an insult.
