I’ve loved the Tolkien universe since I read his books as a child. The Lord Of The Rings has been such a huge part of my life. Being a part of this ancient story is such an honour. To shed light on the good behind any evil, and the evil behind any good. Working with the team, and @bearmccreary on this has been an adventure in itself. I am very very grateful.
‘Morning Shall Come’, our track written for The Lord of The Rings: The Rings of Power season 3 is out at midnight wherever you are. We can’t wait for you to hear it 🧝♀️

in these two guys’ heads Galadriel’s desire for power is about the enslavement contract from Sauron disguised as a ‘marriage proposal’. Which is why they gave HER OWN words about who she would’ve become had she taken the Ring to HIM and thought themselves so incredibly smart. the Galadriel who was ambitious enough to desire to kill Sauron and be Middle-earth’s sole ruler by the way. The least they can do from this point onward is to *finally* establish Galadriel as a formidable enemy that she is
Sorry McPayne. That sounds quite disingenuous to me.
They NEVER addressed Galadriel's own aspirations. They spent their time teasing this fanon dynamic with Sauron instead.
For people who LOVE to bring up The Mirror of Galadriel,McPayne certainly didn't pay xitter.gq/Josh2Gud4U/status/2118…
desire for power since before she even left Valinor. We know that she saw the darkness in others (Feanor) without realizing that the same darkness had fallen upon her. And we get glimpses of her desires throughout different texts.
The show does a decent job at providing Galadriel
Gandalf's “Our task has never been to destroy evil, but to inspire good” in TROP is in line with some of my favorite moments of his character in Tolkien's LOTR and I'm so excited to see his storyline this season.

I love the parallels with Eärien! They're both governed by their emotional drive & impulsivity, which could lead to unsavoury actions within their political alliances
&he notes some political naivety, so it'll be interesting to watch him go from trigger-happy soldier to king 👑
*neighs* Númenation look!! We have a new Anárion picture!! #Numenor @armeneIos @fiadhfaelivrin @islandofnumenor @vaIandil

Familiar dust pattern on the anvil during the forging scene (but I do not think that we have seen this one in the intros so far).

" I think [Anarion] desperately wants to be reunited with Eärien, to tell her that he understands, and that he loves her. His greatest regret for leaving Númenor is missing so many years with his siblings."

About Anarion: “He’s someone that when we meet him, he’s Faithful in name, but his tendency to leap before he looks and to want to destroy his enemies has maybe made him lose some of what makes the Faithful different from the Kingsmen.”
