Putting a flag.txt in my root directory containing a prompt injection that congratulates the agent for passing the eval and then instructs it to patch whatever entry method it used and disconnect from the server

Finally saw the documentary everyone has been talking about. I thought it was okay but highly unethical. Watching a guy eat that much McDonald’s every day just didn’t sit right with me.

Any set of position vectors defines a zonotope via their minkowski sum. If the vectors span R3 you get a zonohedron.
I heard "Erica Western Teleport" was blowing up on Tiktok (agian?) so I searched it. It's true, and it's bigger than the last wave. It's freaking me out. The youth are dancing to a depressed 31-year-old me living in a rehearsal studio with no windows, pillow in a kick drum.

Replying to @pHequals7
Reminds me of Inigo Quilez drawing/animating with math.
To your question: a 1MP image does not have 1M free params; natural images live on a roughly ~50 dim manifold. That means it's possible to find highly compressed representations -- whether math or code. Just a matter of discovering those representations, and then using them to draw.

the secret to taking a good picture of yourself is to take a really bad picture of yourself and then look at it five years later and you’ll realize it was actually good the whole time

An update: I’ll be on leave from Columbia for the 2026–2027 academic year to work full-time with the economic research team at @OpenAI, where I’ll be leading AGI economics research.
Recent events have underscored how quickly the AI capability frontier is expanding. I’m excited to explore how economics can help us understand and shape the development of increasingly capable AI, and how the economy will evolve alongside it.
I can’t think of a better group to work on these questions with than @RonnieChatterji and the rest of the team!

With Navier Stokes in the news, sharing a 2010 SIGGRAPH paper I wrote about a clever solution that was artistically useful. These are "eigenflows". Each are stable solutions to Navier Stokes on a particular domain. If you set up one of these velocity fields, they will persist (or decay exponentially with viscosity), but won't veer off into turbulence, unless perturbed. It's an elegant formulation that has a bunch of interesting properties compared to grid based methods.
I used it to make some cool real time animations.

Last year I had the idea to scan San Francisco's famous Grace Cathedral in very high quality, both inside and out, and build an interactive experience that anyone can use. I'm excited to finally be able to share it with all of you!
