Thank you forever.
We all must remember. If we do not, the sacrifice of one hundred thousand Canadian lives will be meaningless. They died for us, for their homes and families and friends, for a collection of traditions they cherished, a future they believed in, @SeaforthOfC

a concept of country they wanted others to know. They died for Canada and for those living there then, now and in the future. Their sacrifice and its meaning rests within our collective national consciousness. Our future is a living monument to them.

I am thankful that such individuals lived.
To all of those who serve, then, now, and in the future - thank you.
For those who sacrifice for things greater than themselves - We will remember.

TFO's 180 features my big sis & the inspiring way she redefined herself. Focused on what she can control, the support she can give & everything she can learn from those she surrounds herself with, I am lucky to call @Chenard_CA my family.

"Girls who play sport become women who lead - whether that's in their communities, in politics, in business - and we need more women leading in this country."

ALT Nathan White, MJ/20. Associate Director, Communications, Swimming Canada: “As you can imagine, there are some high highs and low lows depending on how a race has gone, and it’s my job to be there for them (the athletes) and help them make the most out of their opportunities to speak with media."
ALT Mark Lee, BJ/80, Athletics Play by Play: “I’ve worked as a sports journalist, making documentaries, and ultimately doing play-by-play for the past 44 years. It’s been an amazing journey,”
ALT Waneek Horn-Miller, BA/00 Political Science, Prime Time CBC Broadcast Panelist: "I seek to bring perspective that not only highlights our medalist, but also brings light to all the athletes and the stories and the people behind these athletes. The stories are what interest and inspire me. The results are secondary to that."
ALT Thomas Hall, MJ/15, Head of Team Canada Media Relations: "I'm responsible for a team of roughly 30 people who help tell Team Canada's story to the four billion or so people who tune into the Games."
