Wonβt be posting on here anymore. Will start using the other app soon so feel free to follow me there. Would love to keep up with people I already follow and talk to here. New account will be a little more personal and not just video games.

Very happy to see more Astro Bot on the way. The last game gave me the warm and fuzzy feelings that normal people get from Mario games.
I donβt think you should be able to describe your footage as βgameplayβ when it doesnβt include the UI features that will no doubt be plastered all over the final release.
Okay this is kind of hilarious. I made this exact same point when Jason Schreier reported on how Bioware chose to make Anthem as a live service game and how it wasn't forced into it by EA. He then put me on blast to his followers IIRC and I got a ton of snarky comments.
Fuck Phil Spencer. He's the reason Xbox is struggling. He could have fallen on his sword and quit but instead he fucked over his employees. He's a money grabbing coward like every other major executive. None of them have any morals or backbone.

π¨ New video is live! This time we're looking at the state of organized fascism in the US. How bad is the problem, exactly? Well, I've got good news and bad news...Link below!
This is how I'm feeling. I already knew the US was a facist country but recent events really made that reality hit home. I don't know how anyone can watch the police (equiped like a military) attack peaceful student protestors and not be absolutely horrified.

I'm souring on Dragon's Dogma 2 quite a bit. First of all, the microtransaction defenders were lying out of their dirty assholes. You DON'T get plenty of portcrystals. I've been playing for 20 hours and only have one. This means fast travel is very limited for me.
That wouldn't be a problem if exploring the world was fun but it is incredibly repetitive. I'm so sick of killing the same god damn enemies. I'd enjoy it more if fast travel we're readily available. However, I don't think this was a ploy to make you buy portcrystals via the MTS.
I will never be able to get enough of the Matrix but I'm not sure how I feel about one that isn't directed by a Wachowski. Hopefully this was her choice and she is still able to direct the story where she wants it to go.

I am loving Dragon's Dogma 2 far more than I expected to. This might sound reductive, but I think I'm getting the experience from it that other people* get from Breath of the Wild. The exploration is wonderful and I love the creativity in combat.
*basic bitches
At the same time, I'm loving it as a soulslike game and getting the experience that other people get from those. Soulslike games are VERY hard for me and I need to use guides a lot. However, I can play DD2 without guides and get a sense of shock and discovery.
Re the MTs in Dragon's Dogma 2: I think the presence of MTs in a soulslike game is a really bad idea. Sure, you can earn that stuff in game and will likely have a lot of them *if you're good* at it. Those of us who struggle will be short and tempted to spend.
Plus, you never know to what extent the amount of these resources was adjusted to tempt people into spending. That's the last thing you want to be thinking about when playing a game where difficulty is such a core part of the experience.
