Reunion! The Colts are trading three-time Pro Bowl DL DeForest Buckner to the 49ers for a 2027 fourth-round pick, sources tell @ringer @netflixsports.
Buckner came to San Francisco as the No. 7 overall pick in the 2016. A decade later, he’s back.

L'Jarius Sneed when targeted:
35/45
372 yds
1 TD
108.5 pass rating
29.2% target rate
So he's being targeted at rate only behind JSN when in coverage and allowing a passer rating than 2022 Mahomes MVP year.

If I had to guess today I don't think that they will trade Jonathan Taylor" ~ @AdamSchefter

Random stat: Chiefs opponents have made 13/13 FGs this year and have made 44/45 in the last two seasons (98%). One reason Butker's misses stand out could be that Chiefs fans never see it from other teams.

For everyone who was sick of hearing about the Super Bowl MVP...
(and for @cdotharrison and his listeners in KC 🤣🤣🤣)
"He's a good player...But he is certainly not irreplaceable."
@TheMikeSalk is glad that last night put an end to the narrative that the #Seahawks made a big mistake letting Kenneth Walker III go to the Chiefs.

#Chiefs WR routes last night, the second game without Rashee Rice (hamstring). On 36 Mahomes dropbacks:
1. Xavier Worthy 33*
2. Jalen Royals 24
3. Andrew Armstrong 20
4. Cyrus Allen 10
5. Justin Watson 2
*Xavier Worthy has played 37 regular season games, and never topped 83 receiving yards.

@AdamSchefter on a potential Jonathan Taylor trade:
"I don't think the Colts would get a 1st if they traded Jonathan Taylor..
There's definitely interested teams in Jonathan Taylor but will the Colts be willing to make that move"

Cyrus Allen caught the second pass of the day for 18 yards and finished leading the Chiefs wide receivers in yards with that one play.

Harrison Butker's 15 missed kicks (10 FGs, 5 PATs) since start of last season are the most in NFL.

The Chiefs' first points come with 1:42 left on the clock in the third quarter. This is the latest the Chiefs have ever opened their scoring in a Patrick Mahomes *regular season* start
Their first points in the 2024 Super Bowl v. the Eagles came with 0:43 left in the 3rd

As expected, Patrick Surtain is inactive. Next week against the Chiefs appears to be the plan from my understanding. He did return to practice this week. Good sign.

Before he was placed on IR, #Chiefs LT Josh Simmons was told to leave a team meeting by coach Andy Reid and QB Patrick Mahomes.
