I loved it and we were treated like kings by the Danube Institute. Their offices are the former Ottoman fort on the ridge, so you're speaking in front of 15 ft thick stone walls. I added this bit to my speech specifically for @cdrsalamander's pet peeve of NATO's eastern flank

Yeah, I sold cars. You sell open borders, higher taxes, government run healthcare, antisemitism, sharia law, and policies that ship auto jobs to China. One of us understands the American Dream. The other wants to kill it. That’s why @MikeRogersForMI is going to kick your ass.

I just debated at Cambridge and Oxford. At Cambridge, instead of focusing on their own decaying country, they are obsessed with Israel. The lack of moral clarity on this topic is chilling. I decided to put this bouncy Brit in his place. Watch:

🇬🇧 Mohmed Ahmad Abdulkarim and Nouman Essghir have been charged with national security offences over the incident at RAF Fairford in September, with one suspected of assisting Iran’s intelligence service. Mohmed Ahmad Abdulkarim, 24, is charged with assisting a foreign intelligence service. Counter Terrorism Policing said they believe the foreign nation involved is Iran. Nouman Essghir, also 24, is charged with entering a prohibited place for a purpose prejudicial to the safety or interests of the United Kingdom. Three suspicious vans were seen near the US-operated airbase on 27 September. No explosives were found, but a quantity of petrol was seized. A large cordon remained around the base for several days. A 25-year-old UK-Iranian national who was re-arrested on suspicion of assisting a foreign intelligence service has been released without charge.

"I think anybody who suggests that third country removal is fundamentally unfair has to explain how they would handle that problem because when the left had power, they did not handle that problem. They let those people live among us and a lot of them committed additional crimes against Americans and created new victims... We've proved that it can be solved." @DHSGenCounsel

Interesting discussion on C.S. Lewis’s prophetic work, That Hideous Strength, if you’re into that sort of thing.

This isn't just an Army problem, it is a DOW problem. Ref. A. from April 2024: cdrsalamander.substack.com/p…
It is my professional assessment after decades in uniform that the single greatest threat to military readiness is the U.S. Army officer corps’ inability to tell the truth. For decades, the readiness culture has been built on literal lies, and must be rebuilt from the ground up.

I think the longer quote gives a bit more depth to my quote on the morality of our unarmed auxiliaries, so here is the 53-second audio version...that also has a @johnkonrad call out on a conversation we had about this exact topic about a dozen years ago.

We have a significant development out of Jordan tonight, along with several other developments across the Middle East worth bringing together before we call it a night. Jordan Jordanian aircraft have carried out strikes inside southern Syria following Friday’s attack on St. George’s Greek Orthodox Church in Karak, which killed nine people and wounded dozens more. Jordan says the strikes targeted militant hideouts connected to extremist activity uncovered during the investigation into the church attack. Earlier today, Jordanian security forces captured the three men accused of carrying out the shooting after tracking them to an abandoned house in Karak. All three were wounded and taken alive after reportedly opening fire on security forces. Jordanian authorities have described the suspects as extremists, but they have not identified them as members of a particular terrorist organization, and no organization has claimed responsibility for the church attack. Syria says Jordan’s strikes killed seven civilians, including three children and a woman, and disputes Jordan’s assertion that the operation was coordinated with Damascus. Syria has now closed the principal Nassib border crossing between the two countries. That turns what began as a terrorist attack and domestic investigation into a cross-border military and diplomatic confrontation. We need to watch what happens next very carefully. Egypt and Saudi Arabia Egypt’s parliament has formally authorized President Abdel Fattah el-Sissi to provide military assistance to Saudi Arabia as Houthi missile and drone attacks continue. For now, Egypt is describing its potential role as defensive. That could include aircraft and air-defense systems used to intercept incoming missiles and drones. Cairo says it does not intend to send ground forces into Yemen or participate in offensive operations there. Authorization does not mean Egyptian forces have entered combat, but another major Arab military now has the legal authority to participate directly in Saudi Arabia’s defense if requested. Iran and Diplomacy At the same time, an unusual amount of diplomacy is taking place in Tehran. Senior officials from Saudi Arabia, Pakistan and Turkey met Iranian officials today, while Qatar continues its own mediation efforts in coordination with Washington. Discussions are expected to continue, but no agreement or breakthrough has been announced. That diplomatic effort is worth watching because it is occurring while military preparations throughout the region continue to increase. Yemen The Saudi-led coalition says it has destroyed additional Houthi ballistic-missile infrastructure, including missile-storage tunnels and launchers. Fighting around Mokha is also moving dangerously close to humanitarian operations. Doctors Without Borders reports that strikes landed near Mokha General Hospital, damaging the facility, although patients and staff were unharmed. This remains one of the most active fronts in the region, and the potential involvement of Egyptian air-defense assets would represent another significant change. The United States Despite everything happening tonight, I have not seen confirmation of new American strikes against Iran or an attack against American personnel. Washington continues to signal that additional military action remains possible, while regional governments are simultaneously trying to find a diplomatic way to prevent another major round of fighting. That leaves us in an uncomfortable position tonight. Jordan has now crossed into Syria, Egypt is preparing to help defend Saudi Arabia, the Saudi-Houthi fight continues, and senior regional officials are sitting across the table from Iran trying to keep another war from beginning.

Americans really can't imagine third world fraud like this. One of the fake victims was accidentally shot during the fake crime! The guy who set up hundreds of fake robberies, because apparently victims of crimes have an easier time getting visas, only got 2 years in prison.
Ya'll, this is nuts. Hundreds - that's right, HUNDREDS - of armed robberies between 2022 and 2024 weren't real. They were staged by the "victims" as part of a massive immigration fraud scheme to secure U-visas for themselves and their families. cwbchicago.com/2026/10/buckt…

🚨Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent on President Obama mocking the Cheesecake Factory: “This is the man who built the museum and it looks like Darth Vader’s tomb.” Bessent also told @FoxBusiness' @FBNNicoleMac he frequents the Cheesecake Factory and always orders the French dip cheeseburger — and suggested the “Martha’s Vineyard set” should “give it a try.”
