In December 2025, @cedouganda graduated 61 participants who had attained hands on skills in tailoring, bakery, liquid soap and shower gel making

As the review and validation of the Rapid Assessment report came to the end, @cedouganda and @GNB_Uganda was honored award different key actors for their contribution during the 2025 National #GirlSummit
The Rapid Assessment on the Implementation and Financing of Uganda’s National Strategy to #EndChildMarriage Marriage provides critical evidence to strengthen accountability, financing, coordination and implementation so that every girl can grow, learn and thrive free from it.
Very grateful to host key actors in the review and validation of the official report on the rapid assessment of the the implementation and financing of the national strategy to #EndChildMarriage and Tenage Pregnancy in Uganda
Discussions are still ongoing,the numbers tell why this work matters:
📊 34% of Ugandan girls are married before the age of 18, and 7% before 15 (UDHS 2022)
📊 Nearly 1,000 teenage girls conceive every day in Uganda close to 2 million births among teenagers in the last 5 years (UNFPA)
📊 Uganda loses an estimated UGX 1.6 trillion annually due to child marriage and related harmful practices
Behind every statistic is a girl whose future is at stake. Partners continue engaging in rich dialogue on strengthening collective action to protect girls and end child marriage and teenage pregnancy in Uganda. 🇺🇬
