I don’t think it’s better / worse than anything that came out when mainstream rap was considered to be in a good place
fans & listeners are just overexposed to so much music and media, not to mention way more nitpicky, so these moments aren’t landing like they would have before
Songs like this is why Mainstream Rap isn’t good anymore. There’s nothing impressive about all these big name artists on this one song. Not a single memorable bar, the production is horrible and guess what, because it’s gonna go number 1 off the names of the artists, people will ignore it being a terrible song
