The biggest currency in global trade is trust.
A few years ago, trade conversations stalled under grey-list flags, currency volatility, and depleted reserves. Deliberate reforms by Governor Olayemi Cardoso and the @cenbank team have rebuilt external reserves, cleared FATF grey-list benchmarks, and restored FX stability.
With that foundation in place, the work turns to infrastructure. At @theflutterwave, we power this corridor from both ends, clearing trade payments into Asia and settling commercial revenues directly back into Nigeria.
To strengthen our commercial execution on the ground, Guo Songmei joins us as Regional Vice President of Sales and Partnerships for Greater China & Asia. Welcome to the team, Songmei! She and our Chief Compliance Officer, Mobolaji Bammeke, joined me in Beijing for the CBN bilateral engagements, ensuring commercial expansion is backed by compliance rigor.
On to the next chapter of Africa–Asia trade. 🚀

She doesn't give a damn about Igbo men; it’s all about growing her page; Igbo serves that end game.
The same way Bukky, Oyinda, German-based woman et al have been using Yoruba love to grow their page.
They don't care about anything; growing their brand using the prevailing cultural war is a means to an end for them.
They have no principles; they are just here to grow their pages.
In a few years when Tinubu and Co are out, they'll gi back to default; time will reveal it all.
The same way some folks used activism and social issues to grow their brand, they are also doing it.
Don't die in their war.

It has been "Nigerian culture" since two incidents involving widows, in the past 3 years.
God sees every injustice and bias. 😬

To those asking what happened and why I have now declared my hope in Peter Obi, let me explain…
I casually said to my father that Peter Obi, Tinubu and every other politician were all the same. I honestly believed there was no real difference between them.
My father spent almost an hour explaining the political situation under Tinubu and what governance was like in Anambra State under Peter Obi. That conversation opened my eyes to something I had failed to understand.
I realised that while no politician is perfect, not all leaders are the same. There is a difference in their priorities, their approach to leadership and the importance they place on the lives of ordinary people.
Sometimes, like me, many make the mistake of saying “they are all the same” because we have been disappointed too many times. But after the talk with my father, I began to understand that the differences can be much deeper than we think.
For me, Peter Obi represents a different kind of hope. I am not saying he is perfect or that he has all the answers. I am saying that, based on what I have come to understand, I see a meaningful difference between his record in Anambra and what Nigerians are experiencing under Tinubu.
And that difference matters!!!
When people are struggling to eat, when families can barely survive and when ordinary Nigerians are losing hope, leadership is no longer just about politics, it is about humanity and about whether the people in power truly understand the suffering of the people they lead.
That is why I no longer believe that all politicians are the same!!! And I hope that you do too!!!
I would rather support a leader I believe offers a better path than be extreme and believe that every option is equally bad!!!
Peter Obi may not be perfect, but in the eyes of any objective person, he represents a far lesser evil than Tinubu. And sometimes, in a country that has suffered so much, recognising the difference between two choices is the beginning of hope!!!
That is what changed my mind and that is why I have chosen to believe again.
A better Nigeria is POssible!!!!
You see, everyone is mentioning "Nigerian culture" in that Toluwa death saga with his wife and family?
Guess what would've happened if it were Igbo? They would've been everywhere with "Igbo misogyny," and those without self-awareness would be championing it in the name of feminism.

It’s surprising that Igbo women who are usually at the forefront of calling out societal ills and tagging every form of oppression that happens in their families and Nigeria “Igbo culture” haven’t said anything about the happenings surrounding the death of the young man whose widow and his father are at disagreement.
Interesting.

The South East Development Commission (SEDC), through the South East Investment Company (SEIC), in partnership with Gas Sync and NNPC Gas Marketing Limited (NNPC NGML), invites the public to the launch of the South East Gas Distribution Pipeline Infrastructure Project.
The proposed 400km pipeline network will connect the ANOH Gas Processing Plant in Imo State to major industrial and commercial centres across the five South East states, supporting energy access, investment and regional economic growth.

Folks see news like this but turn around to argue Igbo men are misogynists, despite Igbo women being one of the most educated and most empowered women in all of Africa, even more successful than most men on the continent.
Meanwhile Hausa women can't even own a TikTok account. 😄

Dayo Israel is the Chairman, federal medical center in Abeokuta, which is a specialist hospital with ZERO MRI machine. None at all.
The 7 SUVs can purchase 3 MRI machines. Please vote out these wasteful losers in 2027!!
I thought Engr. Professor Umahi said nobody in the South-East elders are supporting Peter Obi & he didn't do any consultations?
A smart man!
Using the opportunity to build up his base ahead of when Anambra governorship rotates to Anambra North Senatorial Zone for the 2030 elections.
After Obi wins in Anambra, he'd be a more widely known name.
As Anambra State Coordinator of the NDC PCC, I met with His Excellency, Mr. Peter Obi, the Party’s Presidential candidate, for a closed-door breakfast meeting.
We engaged in strategic discussions ahead of the 2027 presidential election.
