Right so we with actual obligations need to make sure the ones without literally any obligations are okay with the time of the family gatherings. I’ve had so many single family members and in laws arguing over the time of events. Just don’t go if you “can’t” make it.

If youre going to be childfree you have to accept that children and the elderly dictate the schedule for family events. Be an adult. Your 3 year old nephew and 73 year old uncle with Alzheimers cant do dinner at a steakhouse at 730pm just because that's your preference. Grow up.
