First of all, please stay out of matters you don’t have a clear picture of. You don’t know the circumstances of my marriage, my immigration history, or the nature of my relationship with this fellow, so perhaps you should stop making assumptions. For the record, I have never lived illegally in any country, nor did I marry my wife for immigration papers. We knew each other for years before getting married, and we are both accomplished in our respective fields. I married my best friend, and we continue to enjoy our lives together. Now, regarding this fellow you’re defending, my problem with him is his constant habit of talking down to others, particularly fellow Nigerians, and reducing their political preferences to a desperate quest for American visas. The irony is that he himself came to America seeking opportunities. His own immigration journey should inspire some humility, not this newfound sense of superiority. He is entitled to his political opinions, but he is not entitled to ridicule others for pursuing opportunities similar to those he benefited from. You cannot spend your life seeking a place in American society and suddenly start carrying yourself as though you’re the grandson of George Washington. And since you seem particularly concerned about our relationship, let me clarify something. He is not my friend. We met here on Twitter, I invited him to my wedding, he attended, and I genuinely appreciated his presence. That’s it. An invitation to my wedding was not an invitation to dictate my political opinions or purchase my lifelong loyalty. If he chooses to play the victim because I challenge his political grandstanding, that’s entirely his business. I will not turn a blind eye to statements I consider extreme or to his dismissive attitude toward Black Americans and fellow Nigerians simply because we once shared a social occasion. You can defend his political positions all you want, but don’t attempt to manufacture a personal obligation where none exists. He attended my wedding, not my political inauguration. I owe him courtesy, not allegiance. 😂

!!!! That’s how I saw a tweet of someone complaining about a decision he made and still doubling down on making said decision again. Children in adult bodies fr fr
Nigerians make me shy. You mean I have to explain to you like you’re a child that this current life you’re living is not normal?

I don’t have a problem with women who think this way. My major issue is that the kind of men they say they hate, are the ones who like their women this way😂. Leadership cannot be turned on and off when it pleases you by the way. That’s something that I think many women who think this way have yet to come to terms with.
Women are reciprocators. Not initiators. You lead; she follows. You put in effort; she returns it. You make her feel good; she mirrors it. That's the only way it works.

Reciprocating is good. But it is not love. If you only do good to a person ONLY after they have done good to you, you do not love them. There must be initiating effort JUST BECAUSE you love them.

Only receivers who has no intention to give nothing hide behind the mask of a reciprocator

Arsenal players ARE aware they have this privilege, it’s why they do whatever they like on the pitch. Arteta is aware of it too and he instructs his team to play this way in the name of “Dark Arts” Such a shame for the supposedly best league in the world
🚨 Virgil van Dijk: “There was a clear penalty for us. VAR doesn’t notice it? There are 50 cameras…”. “Why does he have to complain when there’s so many cameras? Everyone has seen it. At the end of the day, it wasn’t given so congratulations to Arsenal”.

Cole Palmer here showing an understanding of what it truly means to be a playmaker. Get the ball to a player who's been waiting for his chance (also does it because he trusts in his quality) in the best situations possible to try and use that energy to add something to the team. Estevao got so many 1v1s and it was Palmer supplying those 1v1s. Reading the state of mind of your teammates and using that to also determine where the ball should go the most is playmaking.
🗣️ Cole Palmer: "People still don't realise how good Lavia is, he's one of my favourite midfielders" "I just tried to give the ball to him (Estevao) when I got it because he's been wanting to play and show what he can do, he's been patient, he played well" (@BBCSport)

This is my biggest issue with Alonso. His load management has been a joke and it’s no wonder players are dropping like flies. Henderson is on course to play three 90s in a week at 36. Estevao could have given Rogers a much needed rest. He has to change
Looked leggy since minute 1 no idea why Also got dominated by Araujo physically. While made terrible decisions on the ball

I don’t understand. Did Messi arrive in those finals by lottery or what?
Messi played in 3 World Cup finals and won just one… Ronaldo played in 5 UCL finals and won all of them. Fact: If Ronaldo had played in 3 World Cup finals, I swear he would’ve won all 3. He knows how to deliver in finals, unlike Messi.
Readers added context they thought people might want to know
Ronaldo played in 6 UEFA Champions League finals, not 5. He won 5 and lost the 2009 final with Manchester United. uefa.com/uefachampionsl… uefa.com/uefachampionsl…

I have come to enjoy watching these videos that pop up about this game. Partly because I know it will end well. But I can’t imagine the frustrations I will feel if I have to play it myself

Kendrick Lamar has 27 since 2014 while drake has only 3, J.cole has 2 . No sane person uses the Grammys as a yardstick for anything
Jay Z has 25 grammys and 50 has one for Crack a bottle ft Eminem and Dre (2010). Jay Z has 14 number 1 albums and 50 has 2 .

EPL teams have won the UCL 3 times in the last 7 years, but here is this fellow already making excuses for Arteta using the physicality of the league. Again, very harsh when it comes to everyone else, but apparently Arteta is perfect and every failure he has (which is a lot by the way) is something else’s fault
PSG and Bayern are favourites for the Champions League because they are obviously brilliant, but also because their respective domestic leagues are not competitive. Arsenal, for example, go to war in every single Premier League match-day, purely because the league is so tough.

Lool again this is what we keep talking about. Harsh criticisms for everyone else But yet, spends 80% of his time telling you why everything Arteta does is the best. Went on a rant of how the best trio in the premier league are not being properly coached for example But believes Arteta whom every attacker he has signed is underperforming is the best coach that has graced the game. And you don’t expect people to call you out.
This is how cultures should be set at football clubs. See Mikel Arteta at Arsenal for the best modern day example of that transformation.
