Remember when Patrick Stewart watched James McAvoy shave his head for PROFESSOR X in X-MEN: APOCALYPSE (2016)? McAvoy later described it as Stewart “handing the baton over.”

James McAvoy on the demise of Sir Patrick Stewart.
“Sir Patrick Stewart will always be the definitive Professor X to generations of fans, but to me, he is so much more than that. He is a legend, a mentor, and an extraordinary actor whose presence elevated everyone around him. Stepping into a role he made iconic was never about replacing him; it was about honoring the legacy he built. I will forever be grateful for the path he paved, both on screen and beyond it. There will never be another Patrick Stewart.”

I’ll never get over what happened to the story/game 🥲
Worse than a government shutdown
We estimate that service restoration for #AO3 will take around 2 weeks but it could be up to 4 weeks. We are hopeful that we will be able to bring the site back up in a degraded state sooner. Refer to our status page for updates: otwstatus.org/
Last legacy genuinely got me locked in for a visual novel/otome the first time since mysmes and I can’t tell what’s worse ? The story being dropped or continuing like a dead horse being beaten
