The amount spent on permanent residents is less than 0.4% of the social assistance budget. The amount spent on refugees and asylum seekers is less than 0.004% of the social assistance budget. Over 99.5% of the social grants budget is spent on citizens. Over 99.99% is spent on citizens and permanent residents. But don't let facts get in the way.
