Remembering Christopher Reeve, a genuinely super man, born today in 1952.
"What makes Superman a hero is not that he has power, but that he has the wisdom and the maturity to use the power wisely."

I build Binge, a TV shows & movie tracker, mostly solo — and I shipped it with raw simulator screenshots. Plain screens, no story.
Then I looked at the top apps in my category and it hit me: their listings sold the app in three thumbnails. Mine looked like a bug report. For most people the screenshots are the app — it's the whole pitch, and I was leaking installs before anyone tapped "Get".
Rebuilding six frames by hand — across device sizes, in Portuguese and English — was a weekend I didn't have. So I tried @AppLaunchpad, and honestly it did more than I expected:
Instead of a blank artboard, I started from one of their 1,000+ templates — the hard design decision was basically made for me. The drag-and-drop editor let me move text, screens and icons around in seconds without ever opening Figma.
The 3D device and hand mockups were the moment it clicked — my screens suddenly looked like a real phone someone's holding, not a flat export. I dressed the frames with their 10,000+ graphics and backgrounds, so nothing needed a stock-site detour.
Then the part that actually saved my launch: localization. My English set generated from the same layout as the Portuguese one — no rebuild, no re-exporting each size by hand. Every App Store format came out spec-correct in one pass.
An hour in, I had ASO-optimized screenshots that genuinely look like they convert — the kind that can lift installs 2–3X. Best money-for-time I've spent on the listing.
If yours are still raw screens, fix that before you spend a cent on ads.
