I’ll go back to speaking in English now but let this be a lesson to all countries: the people hold all the power. Organize or go to protests, fight for your rights, dont let politicians kill your will. You’re in charge of your future and they can’t take that away

Lula didn’t just beat Bolsonaro: He beat Trump, Netanyahu/Israel, Meta interference, algorithms, the right-wing wave taking Latin America, and the elite billionaire class... If Brasil just did it, America can too.

People are very unhappy in France as they are in many places. There are no opportunities for young people, Education is unaffordable, Rent is extortionate, buying a house impossible, decent jobs don't exist. All while billionaires become trillionaires. People are sick of it.

I just saw RJ Mitte got engaged last year. I can’t imagine the pain his fiance is going through. This is such a devastating loss. He did so much advocacy for the disabled and was an amazing person. He also did a lot for animal welfare. He always seemed so happy and it’s so fucking tragic how you never truly know what someone is going through.

The French student protesters’ demands are clear: smaller class sizes, more teachers, and better classroom conditions. Even blunter has been their messaging. Across the country, high school and university students have blockaded entrances to lycées and taken to the streets, equipped with signs reading “MACRON, FUCK YOUR PROF, NOT OURS,” and “TOO YOUNG TO BE LISTENED TO / OLD ENOUGH TO BE TEAR-GASSED.” The latter is a response to the violence that student protesters have faced in response to their actions. Demonstrations in France have been met with aggressive and sometimes outrageous policing. In the northern part of the country, a police officer threw a tear-gas grenade directly into a 14-year-old’s face and shattered his jaw. Another child had his hand blown off, picking up a police stun grenade. “Street protests, a fundamental French right, can be as effective a lever as litigation or the vote,” Lauren Collins writes. Students have been leading weeks-long protests across France, particularly in Paris, calling on the government to improve learning conditions, citing issues such as staff shortages and overcrowded classrooms. Police have arrested more than 6,000 people, with reports of students being seriously injured, including a 15-year-old boy that had his hand blown off when a police stun grenade exploded during a protest in Lens.

I recently read: “When I hear ‘not all men,’ my response is: ‘Not all sharks either, but I still get scared when I see one.’” And whew. That’s it. That’s the whole fucking point.

Poor men rape. Middle class men rape. Rich men rape. Black men rape. White men rape. Asian men rape. Latino men rape. The common denominator is MEN. This is a gender issue, not a race issue!!
If the Cornell University rapists had been immigrants or Muslims that whole situation would have been handled differently They drugged and raped her for 7 hours. Sent a message in a group chat that said “free pussy upstairs” nobody stepped in, nobody stopped them. Every man in that frat is guilty

Macklemore donates his $1 million salary from Ed Sheeran's tour to support Palestine. "Whatever we disagree about, perhaps we can agree on this: Palestinian lives are worth protecting. A Palestinian life is no less valuable than any other life on this earth.... Palestinians have lived for decades without basic rights and should not have to wait another day to be free. That is where my focus will remain. I will continue to stand with the Palestinian people and their fight for liberation." variety.com/2026/music/news/…
